Allison reminds me a bit of Jack Gunston.
Bit of a mix of Gunston and Isaac Smith.

Sorry if this has been mentioned in this thread but does anyone know if we can draft Allison this year or have to wait till next?

If he can put on that sort of size, then he could be anything. It looks a very slight frame though. The Bont for me.
How tall is he Quigs? Hopefully he can be one of these tall midfielders that are 190+The Bont for me.
For those keen followers; how do Chol and Dennis compare to Archie as an 18 year old?

Allison is 193cm tall and weighs in at 73kg's.
That is what he is listed at and I wouldn't mind betting he is a little taller than that now. He is 17 and will fill out.
After today's performance Twomey has said that Hipwood is a likely top 20 pick and you can throw Keays in there as well. A lot of water to go under the bridge yet but we might have to trade out or let Luey go without getting a FA so it doesn't effect next years draft too much. Kind of a good problem to have actually.
Yeah same here, he would need to dominate for the remainder of the season to push that high IMOHipwood a likely top 20 pick is something I personally can't bring myself to agree with at this stage. Nothing against him, but I'd just be very surprised if he went that early. I'd imagine him going anywhere after 30. Clubs may bid to force our hand though.
I didn't get to see Andrews last year as much as Hipwood this year but from what I did see he was in front I reckon at the same stage and he was bid late second round if I remember correctly. Wouldn't be surprised to see Adelaide to it to us again after they put their hand of for Freeman the year before as well.Hipwood a likely top 20 pick is something I personally can't bring myself to agree with at this stage. My thoughts exactly. The Bont without the same level of freakishness. The Bont for me.

All depends on the pick they are bid on...with the draft a little weak on for talent; 15 - 25 range for both is a possibility.
Won't matter too much, as after 12 or so picks; the point system is skewed a lot less.
For example, for a bid at pick 20 (912 pts), we may use a 3rd, 4th or 5th rounder this year and cop the deficit next year. Or we may see Allison, Rolls and co. as better in the long term and pay for the picks up front this year.
That being said, a bid at 20; with the Lions using a 3rd rounder at 38 instead, would be take us into a minus of 447pts...about the equivalent of moving from pick 4 to 7 next season or from pick 25 to 45 if we're talking second round.
It certainly will make draft night a whole lot more interesting![]()
We could just trade for another 2nd round pick and use that and still have our later picks for Williams and WagnerAll depends on the pick they are bid on...with the draft a little weak on for talent; 15 - 25 range for both is a possibility.
