its probably mid range, though given his size probs rated a little higher, he hasn't had injury issues and all wouldnt be surprised if he gets that upto about 14.5 to 14.7.14.1 isn't a great beep test result and I think Schache running ability has been over rated. Actually 14.1 is quite poor IMO.

Maybe because people weren't sure if he was more of a ruckman or a forward. Also, l think Schache has a bit more pace and turning ability than big Wright.its probably mid range, though given his size probs rated a little higher, he hasn't had injury issues and all wouldnt be surprised if he gets that upto about 14.5 to 14.7.
In my opinion Peter Wright showed alot more last year but there wasnt as much hype about him as there is about schache, bit strange
Wright actually had very decent pace for his size, though yes is turning circle was absolutely rubbishMaybe because people weren't sure if he was more of a ruckman or a forward. Also, l think Schache has a bit more pace and turning ability than big Wright.
Wright was the consensus no.1 pick at the start of last year but dropped off due to concerns about him projecting as more of a ruckman. He got just as much hype as Schache- it's just the Schache's hype is picking up around the time that Wright's dropped off last year.its probably mid range, though given his size probs rated a little higher, he hasn't had injury issues and all wouldnt be surprised if he gets that upto about 14.5 to 14.7.

I would've thought 14+ would be considered to be pretty good for a 200cm player...14.1 isn't a great beep test result and I think Schache running ability has been over rated. Actually 14.1 is quite poor IMO.
That kicking action and his touch with passing into the forward 50 is sublime.. Remember when browny was at his peak and would place passes for other forwards perfectly. Schache has potential for this.. We need the weitering hype to build because I can't see us finishing last.. Pray for GC to take him first and we get our long term answer!!14.1 for a big bodied forward is pretty good. I think they hype around Schache is that there is a fair bit of old style full forward about him and he is a beautiful kick of the footy. If we can get our hands on him and Hipwood, I would think our future forward stocks would be more than adequately covered moving forward.

I would rate him well above Aish, in every aspect......... and would offload Aish if it helped ..........
Wont work, we just draft Weitering and then in 2 years pick up the Schache attack just in time for out Grand final push...Just thought of a scenario, and I feel like it leaves Brisbane in a fairly vulnerable position. Let's say Gold Coast finish last and they've decided that they're happy to go with Weitering in the draft. They have a meeting and say, let's try and use this to our advantage, so they say to Brisbane, "We're going to draft Schache with pick number one, so unless you trade us pick number 2 and a ready made player then there is no way you're getting Schache. " So Brisbane, as desperate as we are for a kpf decide to make Schache a sure thing and go ahead and reluctantly trade our pick 2 and Mayes. Marcus Ashcroft, the cheeky bugger and his Gold Coast buddies organise a bbq and invite all of the brisbane lions board, staff and players. While everyone is there they announce that they were never going to pick Schache and that Brisbane had unnecessarily traded Mayes. Leppitsch can't believe it, Mitch Robinson stands up and says "I told you no one takes Brisbane seriously", Rocky gets mad and meanwhile Mayes is in the corner crying. Probably because Gold coast have a zero mullet policy. I'm not sure I'll handle another stressful off-season period guys.
I don't have faith that we'd be able to keep weitering for long with pickering involved.Wont work, we just draft Weitering and then in 2 years pick up the Schache attack just in time for out Grand final push...
Boom cop that you dirty little Suns
Agreed, I know I am sounding paranoid and aware Weitering was up in Brisbane training with the boys, I can see him doing an Aish - Either demanding an ungodly amount for a 2nd year player to stay or leaving right after.I don't have faith that we'd be able to keep weitering for long with pickering involved.
