List Mgmt. 2015 Draft Prospects

Would love to know the discussions that have gone on behind closed doors the last few years in regards to which KPF we rated.

I'd love us to make a call on a KPF this year.

If they think FA would be the best path, then throw everything at it.
Same goes if it's a trade.
OR
Draft:
- I just want the best forward possible. Happy if thats a forward that will fall down the order. However, Im very keen for us to be bold in trading up and grabbing exactly the player that could be our forward anchor for the next 10 years. Prepare to give up something of value.
- However, if the club thinks that there is a great option next year that's better, that's fine, but go for it.

Very few clubs have a power forward like Cloke and i think that their true value is fully realised when they have a quality CHF that draws defender in all directions - the sum of the parts becomes much greater than individual value.

Posted this in the Collingwood Almanac as well, but Derek Hine was on this week's edition of the AFL's Road to the Draft podcast:

Weideman stated that he has just had ankle surgery and will be out for the rest of the year. Unsure how this will affect his draft prospects. Stated he was currently 196cm...but still growing. Looks like a young Matthew Kruezer. They also had Collins (first name escapes me) on. He said he played on Weideman the day he kicked 5. He is built like the proverbial brick........ He too looked great at 193cm and 95kgs.

Rendell has a close association with Nathan Peterson from Sandringham Dragons. A 188cm forward who has played mainly school footy at Caufield Grammar and might be a bit of a late smokey selection for the Pies.

He is the Type of player we need and Hopefully he can Fall to us or we Trade up to try and Draft him

Would love the Weed, we will finish to high to get Schache and need a young tall forward

Schache is a top 5 Pick(Could be Number 1 Pick) so we won’t even be close to Drafting him

It's 774 on your AM radio. Got no idea what time hine is on, just saw it on twitter while working. Joys of working in sport is the Sunday zz

Are we in the frame for Collins? What's everyone's opiniom on him? Brown, Frost, Marsh, Collins. That'd about set us up in the back line and release Reid forward.

Just love the idea of Cloke roaming up the ground while Reid or Grundy plays out of Full Forward. Reid is obviously an elite backman at his best, but his conversion as a forward was great and his defensive pressure as a tall was excellent. His playstyle in late 2013 reminded me very much of Josh Kennedy at the Eagles. Not as good as Kennedy mind you, but still good enough for a 50+ goal season. It would help ease the transition with Moore as well. Can start resting Cloke and play Moore + Reid.

Of course, his body is made of glass so that's a risk in itself. But aside from a currently injured Weideman, our projected first pick kind isn't really great if we want a KPF prospect.
