I would like to find a skilled small forward and of course decent mid-fielders are always handy
I think we must trade for a 20-24 yo forward to replace Butch as we don't have time for a project forward to mature
We are in desperate need of a tough nut (younger version of Logan) similar to what Hardwick brought to us to tighten up our leaky defence

Pearce a little taller with a more penetrating kick maybe?
Yeah but more creative. Neade is as smart and creative as they come.

Like Markov or Brendan Dew with our 3rd pick.

can just hear Dennis' commenting on Oleg's first posession in AFL "and Markov at the end of a chain of handballs..."

A 20-24 year old key forward. Unless you want a spud there aren't too many out there. To be honest Carlisle , who is a better defender then a forward is currently the best forward out there currently uncontracted

As for the tough nut defender from descriptions from the draft Stephen tahana is a lock down small defender. Could be available mid draft.

I would rookie Sid Masters.
he's a beast.. first time i saw him i thought he was 190+.. he's got a pretty good leg as well. the write up on him when we signed he & CHH from the eyre penninsula was masters was previously a power forward who's now gone down back. very surprised when i found out he was 186cm. looked as big as clurey when they stood next to each other.

Tahana would be a great mid round get. His stocks have dropped for some reason, even though he had a good champs.

Very talented.

Callum Ah Chee might have had an up and down Champs but his two games against men, for the AFL academy and last week for South Freo, have been top shelf.

Either he or Rhys Mathieson with our first pick and I'd be over the moon.

Yeah I've been a tad skeptical of the way he can be kept out of the game when shutting him down is a genuine priority for the opposition (perhaps being harsh there), but good on him for continuing to validate that the talent is indeed there.

I think he's up to four or five games this year without a goal. He's making Charlie Cameron's form look very good as a second year player.

Well, one goal in four games. I think it shows he's not a small forward, he's more likely an old-fashioned wingman who could run in the square sometimes.

You think about all the memorable work Neade has done and it's all happened running toward goals across the centreline toward half forward.

Cameron the little sniper is more a classic forward pocket poacher who benefits enormously from the presence of Walker, Betts and even Jenkins.

Has to choose the derby to turn it on :cry::cry::cry:. Excellent performance and clutch to go with it.

I think swap the top ten pick and 2nd round pick for two mid teen picks, then take Curnow and McKay. Upgrade Krak. That's the three min picks required. Curnow is an anything type player and McKay is young and raw with development aplenty left in him who covers the loss of Butcher/?Shaw. Leaves a third round pick and whatever we can get for Moore/Young etc to trade with a crumbling forward/mid. Agius as a rookie and maybe a Gorringe if he got there.

Back at Imperials.

They have an indigenous coach, Steve Sumner, so that probably had a strong influence on him returning to RMFL

Used to know Steven years ago. Played a bit of indoor cricket with him and a bit of footy with his brother

Tahana's stocks have dropped significantly because he couldn't perform the role he is so used to and proficient at purely because of the u/18 rules. Along with the zones as such players weren't allowed to tag because they wanted to expose the purity of each player's skills in winning the ball and disposing of it. This limited tahana substantially, though he still gets an invite to the combine which is always positive. If he can slip under the radar even more I'd be happy to nab him with second even third round pick
