Strategy 2015 Draft Prospects

We need two kid mids out of this draft. Looking at our age profile, Ollie and Toumpas at 21 are our two youngest mids so we don't want too much of a hole to develop there.

Plus Arch. Only a month or so between Arch and ToumpyAss. I can also see Impey developing into an excellent defensive mid. He's a long way away from a mid role, but he has the physical attributes to maybe make a go of it down the track.

But we certainly need a couple of good younger mids to join our list over the next few years. Dunstan (inside), Mayes (outside) .....we couldnt could we

Only key position player I would be looking at is Mitch brown, who had pretty solid year in the VFL playing as a swingman. With Trengrove,Carile and Dixon having consistent injury issues, it would be nice to have some Depth that ready to go.

We have one in Clurey, then there is Austin. I'm happy for us to bypass a KPD for another 12 months. 5 KPDs & 3 shorter capable guys is more than enough.

I would think that he would be a delisted free agent as we have 4 available spots on the list

We were offered Gorringe pretty much for nothing and declined.

Even though we might not have a glaring need for him, I really hope we grab Jordan Dawson with our second pick. He's a ball of potential waiting to happen. No one is really talking about him in the phantom drafts. 190cm forward with X factor. I'll be surprised if he isn't drafted, yet only Skippos has him in his phantom draft.

In those phantoms, Nick O'Kearney is falling rapidly and I have no idea why. If he's there at our first pick, that's who I want.

Hey Honeyboy Wilson , I am interested in your opinion on a couple of the SA kids. (if you have one)

Based on a couple of minutes of youtube footage i was impressed by Mason Redman. He moves really well and takes a nice mark. He looks like he has a lot of upside seeing he gets a lot of clearances but looks like a forward. Also, Jay Brind has an interesting profile. He looks a bit tubby but there is some talent there.

Finally, Tahana looks good but he doesn't get the ball much. Is he just a half back flanker or could be a tagger with some hurt factor?

We certainly don't need him on the senior list, nor did we need Gold Coast to try to squeeze something for him as part of the Dixon deal.
