One to prehaps keep an eye on at the back end of the draft is Wylie Buzza 198cm 98kg. Did kick 5 for Queensland over the Northern Territory a couple of weeks ago ( maybe not fair considering the size of him) apparently only been playing football a couple of years very raw but a solid looking type.

I like his name!

Gibson Turner looked a bit of a talent playing as a small forward for NT Thunder. He's an older player 22 I think and has gone missing once this season. But he's a goalkicker, can take a grab and has some pace. Solid build too. He was on Richmond's rookie list a few years back.

Jackson Clark did a bit of a write up on him before Christmas.

Gibson Turner, 21, Nightcliff

The Centralian goal kicking ace has bucket loads of talent and could easily find himself back on an AFL list if things fall his way. The former Richmond rookie has played for a couple of NTFL clubs but looks right at home in a Tigers jumper. Although best suited to the forward line, Turner has the ability to run through the midfield or half back if needed. A great acquisition for Nightcliff and he forms a great partnership with Desmond Nandy and Baydon Ngalkin

Yep , he might be the type of inside mid we need. Although mathieson has shown he can find a bit of the ball in champs so that might have him ahead for me. Anyone seen them both can comment on disposal ?
Knightmare has an indepth analysis of his views on Dunkley if you duck over to his thread. It's on the opening page. Knightmare has him about 7 Chris25 has him at about 15.

Port tried to recruit his dad as part of our entry conditions back in the day.

I asked Skippos who he preferred out of Mathieson and Dunkley. Skippos very kindly gave a thorough profile of both players and rated Mathieson as the better prospect. Mathieson is described as the more complete natural player who has the ability to link on the outside whereas Dunkley is the maybe limited inside mid who dominates through physicality.

Would certainly have Dunkley but not with our 1st pick. He just sounds a slight down grade on Ollie. Mathieson if we go inside mid sounds closer to the mark.

Apparently dunkley is a bull at the contest much like our Ollie but his foot skills aren't great. Relies on his big body to win the ball. Mathieson cleaner by foot

Wonder if he could go through the midfield at AFL level?
Beep test could be interesting at the draft combine but he seems athletic even at 95 kilos. If he hits the 195cm mark before then he may not last until our pick.

That's it... I'd be surprised if he's hit 195 tho.
There's a bit of discussion on Chris 25s thread that has him at 194cm now. I does seem a few people are keeping an eye on him. This year's Bomtempelli.

We need a forward. It is almost impossible to get a quality forward. Ryan Burton was rated hugely before he was injured. We wouldn't have had a chance to draft Burton if he was not injured. If he is available we just have to take him. Grabbing an inside mud and a small forward can always happen later in the draft. We just have to roll the dice to get a quality forward. Anyway, Moore is going to have a break out second half of the season and re-sign once he has shown his worth!

Good little piece written about Luke Partington on Fox Sports, also a Port Supporter ;)

Partington is one of the best young midfielders in the 2015 draft crop and a genuine ball magnet.

He is averaging 103 ranking points per game in the Under 18 National Championships for South Australia and in the opening four fixtures the Norwood product averaged 28 possessions.

Given our current position, are we a chance to get Partington?

Not sure where Partington would go. I'm not a big fan. If we're screaming out for big bustling inside mids, he definitely ain't it. I'd say 80% of his possessions are uncontested. I think he'll be a solid AFL player, but not an A grader.

If we take partington I'll be fairly happy. It would be adding a 200 game afl player and if you walk away with that it's not bad. But unfortunately he probably doesn't strengthen the top ten or so players on our list. As a guy who runs hard and gets to the right spots I could see Hinkley liking him as an upgrade on Mitchell.

Still , a key forward or inside clearance mid will take us closer to be a top team than an upgrade on Mitchell will.

That's... that perfectly sums up my thoughts without me even thinking them yet.
