Twomey has partington as his 30th best player in his phantom form guide. Says if he slips that little bit further we should pick him up. Pls pls pls

That would make me very happy. Just seems like he will be a solid footballer. Does everything you could ask of him , and while he might be knocked for not having an elite anything ( although I would say people over look gut running and football smarts ) he has a chance to develop something that makes him standout further in an afl training environment. I'm fully expecting he will literally go right before our pick just to get our hopes up and dash them ..

There's a lot of quality about him, both footy and personally. Would be a terrific choice for our first pick but I can't see it happening.

Kieran Lovell is a prospect I would like to have. Only short 174cm but is an impressive ball winner -

I'm sure there will be at least one of those top 30 prospects in Emma Quayle's list who will be available at our pick. Ryan Burton may be a slider because of his long injury lay-off but I don't in any way think he'd get to us. Himmelberg could be a chance, "Inside Football" has him going later than Emma says but to GWS after they match our bid. Would like to have the brothers Ah Chee at Port but Callum is slowly going up most mock drafts and in the 10-20 range is unlikely to slide to us.

Article on NSW Academy prospect Jock Cornell whose name has bubbled up our way lately.

The 187cm medium forward/midfielder possesses an elite kick and reads the game extremely well, averaging thirteen possessions and two goals a game over the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.
He backed up his consistent on-field displays with a good showing at the National Combine, though it was physically and mentally taxing.
Cornell is the son of Julie Cornell, who is one of seven sisters to the Daniher brothers Terry, Neale, Chris and Anthony, and he’s grateful for the influence of Uncle Chris, who coached a young Cornell growing up in Ungarie.

Very keen on Cornell after seeing his draft machine highlights. He looks a natural footballer with a very tidy kick. I also like that for a late pick he's got exposed form against men.

After getting my boy Frampton over the line last year I'm locking in Mason Redman and Jock Cornell as my favourites in this draft.

I like Cornell too. Nothing especially spectacular about him, but he seems to do everything well. I expect we'll take a best available approach so a good all round option like Cornell fits the bill.

So is one of the reason this is consider a shallow draft not only because Vic Country dominated and Vic Metro were poor but also because several NSW and Qld kids considered top 30???

No, I think those NSW/QLD kids are genuinely that good. Mills, Keays, Hipwood and Hopper have been on the radar for about three years now. Kennedy bolted a bit this year, but watch him play and you will see why.

Hi guys, interested in who you guys take in a friendly way

Parsons and white look good and a chance with your first pick ... Excellent long kicks of the football off half back or pushing into midfield

Callum moore is also of interest as a 3rd tall who is v athletic but raw but is excellent in the air. Potential long term replacement for westhoff , different type of player but as a 3rd forward with mobility

Good luck , your recruiters always seem to know what they're doing

We seem to be after some running wingman as we are rumoured to have interviewed schonfield and johnson. Would make sense because after both polly and white were injured our depth was very bad. Amon is coming along nicely but we dont have a real linebreaker mid. Parsons could fit nicely here

Ken has highlighted the need for another big bodied mid due to our current depth not fitting the bill-delisting moore and attempting to trade young. Third defender such as cal moore isnt really a big need as jonas is still pretty young and clurey is also young and can play on talls and smalls.

Basically we are aiming to get a big bodied mid, a good ball user/wingman and a ruck somewhere whether it be the nd or rookie. Some on our board want a small forward aswell

In all seriousness our second selection would be someone no one has ever heard of- a wafl/nsw/act player etc etc we have a habit of doing that

My preference with our picks would be:

1. Aidyn Johnson
2. Luke Partington
3. Alex Morgan
4. Declan Mountfod
5. Stephen Tahana
5. Greg Clark
6. James Parsons
7. Cameron Hewett
8. Kurt Mutimer

If we end up with 2 out of that lot i'll be happy.

Not interested in Schoenfeld at all.

Yep all makes sense

Have a look at Callum moores highlights package , he's a forward not defender . I think you will like what you see . Shoenfeld a definite chance with the second pick

Schoenfield is an amazing athlete. Having said that my preferences for our picks would be any of Luke Partington, Ryan Clarke, Greg Clark, Jock Cornell, Charlie Bance or Sam Skinner. Praying Ben McKay makes it to our first but doubt it.

Schoenfeld has great endurance but he's very slow and he's a poor kick. Not really sure that suits the game style we try to play to be honest.
