Lachlan Tiziani - another GWS Academy player. Quick, great leap, neat skills, plays the 3 sectors (fwd, back, mid).
Nash Holmes - crash and bash, tackling machine.
Jordan Snadden - tall utility/mid. Good across most Combine disciplines (speed. leap, agility) plus excellent kick.
Oleg Markov - rookie type. Athletic, skilful, bit undernourished though.
Joel Hinchcliffe - quick, strong, great kick, not overly tall though.
Parsons, Lovell (do we need another midget?) and Johnson look ok types - however may not last to our pick.

Moore is athletic, a great mark and a terrible kick. One of those already causes us enough heartburn.

Aidyn Johnson has a terrific highlights package. Tall enough, quick, strong if at times undisciplined tackler and exciting. Question mark on his dedication and what there is apart from highlights.

We seem to be after some running wingman as we are rumoured to have interviewed schonfield and johnson. Would make sense because after both polly and white were injured our depth was very bad. Amon is coming along nicely but we dont have a real linebreaker mid. Parsons could fit nicely here

Ken has highlighted the need for another big bodied mid due to our current depth not fitting the bill-delisting moore and attempting to trade young. Third defender such as cal moore isnt really a big need as jonas is still pretty young and clurey is also young and can play on talls and smalls.

Basically we are aiming to get a big bodied mid, a good ball user/wingman and a ruck somewhere whether it be the nd or rookie. Some on our board want a small forward aswell

In all seriousness our second selection would be someone no one has ever heard of- a wafl/nsw/act player etc etc we have a habit of doing that

Along with another 100+ kids mind you!

Very keen on Cornell after seeing his draft machine highlights. He looks a natural footballer with a very tidy kick. I also like that for a late pick he's got exposed form against men.

After getting my boy Frampton over the line last year I'm locking in Mason Redman and Jock Cornell as my favourites in this draft.
Too much of a go home risk. Would be proud of his uncles' achievements for Essendon/Melbourne like Brad was proud of the Ebert legacy at Port

Draft prospect Luke Partington - Emma Quayle. Emma has Luke at 30 in her top 30 prospects so another possible.

The thing Luke Partington remembers most about the last day he spent with his dad is how normal it was. He was home in Tumby Bay for a weekend late in January, his last trip back in a while. He can remember his dad getting home from work on Sunday afternoon, the family sitting down to have dinner together and his parents driving him to the airport so that he could catch a plane back to Adelaide, pre-season training and work. "I didn't think it was a day I was going to have to remember," he said. "I didn't think it was going to be the last time I saw him."

Interesting story. Would love for him to fall to our pick.

How could we go past Wylie Buzza! The new future?

He looked ok in the championships. Only playing a couple of years. Not sure what his aerobic capacity is like but he's never going to be out muscled one on one. Wouldn't be a ridiculous rookie pick.

Has an inconsistent kick and bit injury prone aswell

Whats the general feeling on Kieran lovell? 174cms but powerfully built has leg speed, agility and can run. The only thing letting him down is his height ala caleb Daniel last year. Would we be disappointed with another short player or with the emergence of sam gray show that anything is possible for these smaller type players. Personally I would get him as our current midfield depth is actually quite tall; young and ah chee around that 187-190cms mark.

Its hard to say. Players need to be pretty special when they are that small. Do the best of both worlds and get Greg Clark & Lovell. Averages out :D

With the picks we've got I'm comfortable if the club takes a best available approach. If that's Lovell at 174cm then so be it.

Like him a lot - finds his own ball - good kick - runs all day - physically AFL ready - + pedigree - Dad was an excellent player.

Would be very happy with Dixon, Toumpas and Partington as our offseason haul. If Partington (or, less realistically, Ah Chee) slides to 32 I don't care if we pick a literal potato with 49.

Who is his dad? It's not Andy Lovell.

Very talented but would only rookie him - seriously lazy at times
Yea just thought about him as a potential rookie . We've got one of the best if not the best indigenous programmes and playing groups and wondered if he'd be worth a shot . Ceduna boy I'd say you can take the boy out of Ceduna but it's hard to take the Ceduna out of the boy .

You have got to be kidding me.

He's a good player but a marginal talent. Kid would give his left nut to get on an AFL list. Would have spent more time at GWS, but going there isn't an option when they have other blue chip options in their academy ahead of him.

Anyone interested in Keiren Agius from North Adelaide , apparently very talented but a bit iffy with his attitude .

Plenty of talent but along with his lazy attitude, I have queries over whether he can convert his game to AFL level. He basically plays as a full forward but at 188cm he isn't going to do that at AFL level. Can he work as a 3rd tall or convert his game to more of a crumbing role?

I think if we are going to take a punt on that sort of player I'd prefer Yestin Eades. Serious pace and can play further up the field.

l check him out

Also got confused with the other Demon - Jake Lovett and dad Brett.

Melbourne knocked Jake back as a father-son much to his disappointment. Seeing as Melbourne have basically handed us Ollie Wines and Jimmy Toumpas maybe we should go to the well again. :p

Is he the sort of player that acores goals PLUS appliea non stop pressure?
The second part is what we need more than the first feom a small crumbing forward.
We already have plenty talented forwards that can score goals.
