If he there's at 52, in a weak draft, we could do worse than going with Greg Clark. Didnt have a great U/18 Champs and needs to work on getting a bit more contested posession, but that can be taught. Otherwise at 193cm, +15 beep, very sound foot skills, good overhead, sound character, and a good pedigree having been an U/15 SSA All Australian, AFL-AIS Academy member ....gee there's a fair bit to work with there I'd have thought.

Think he may have got a bit lost the last 12 months with everyone throwing him around into different positions i.e. a bit unsettled. Reminds me a bit of a Grant Birchall/Kamdyn McIntosh type. Kamdyn's a bit quicker, but Clark has better foot skills and's a bit better overhead for mine.

As I have already pointed out it was put to him at the start of the year he needed to play like Rockcliffe who was also a bushranger and then later in the season like Cripps . Oliver has been on the radar for almost 10 years he was
Since he was 9?

Go to bed.

Regarding appropriation of interviews, whatever fits your narrative.

You are an antagonist at the very least.

Just a word on KM. He is an amateur guy keen on the draft. His work is usually accurate in terms of characterization of the player. Draft ranking is so so. Like all the amateurs he has good points and poor points. But at least with him you get a decent description of them as juniors. A few others, are pretty good that way. Most that just pop up with phantoms close to the draft add no value. I just look at a few guys, like KM, Skippo, Bishop, Chris25. Overall they provide a good picture and with enough disagreement based on sound knowledge to give you insight into possible reasons for being drafted earlier or later. What they provide is a good picture of the players, without me having to do the hard work. :p

If you are expecting genuine insight go ask FJ, or any of the other pros. I'm sure he/they is/are just waiting for the invite to post on BF. :D:po_O

Ah Chee's highlights dont excite me the slightest.. especially with someone of his size. You would expect more excitement and more dash, especially with what people say about him.
Would rather pick up someone else.
Nahh I want Callum Ah Chee at Tigerland

He is such a nice boy he even followed me on twitter ;)

Does anyone else worry AhChee could be another JON (even Tambling but who at least made B grade) and will really struggle at AFL level?

The highlights package was rather underwhelming for me tbh. Did he play WAFL?

edit...posted without reading your post strauchy...same thinking eh!
Let me know what you think of this highlights package of Ah Chee

Take note of his marking and precision kicking

Yep and there's stuff from that VM game that's missing in particular a lightening fast handball under the gun to a team mate that results in a goal going to right of screen at Simonds. All class and quick thinking with quick reflexes it is. His reflexes, leg speed, jumping and most importantly his kicking, are all sh$t loads better than JON or Tambling's ever were.

If you wanna get a decent look at him, that VM game is what you wanna watch. He's not without risk, but I've come around to him a fair bit in recent weeks.

He played as a 17 yo kid and was very very good, Callum has a way to go and is no where near a finished product but has all the required skill and tools to become a 200 game top line player

Kicking is extremely high on my list along with speed and marking both on the lead and also in the air, His read on the play is also good but will need improvement as he seems to be extremely offensive and dont see alot of defensive parts in his game but that will come

I personally think he fits Richmond extremely well and adds something we dont have in our lineup, But in saying that we still also need another inside bull but hopefully we can uncover 1 with a later selection or Townsend/Moore may fill that gap

You dont go wrong with selecting kids with Ah Chee's assets

Apparently 3 kids are available for f/s on 2017. Naish (highest rated), Lambert (also part of GWS academy) and Broderick who is a Northern Knights player.
What year does Rioli son become available?

2017 could be interesting-accumulating the necessary points to draft them all if they turn out to be guns.

I was thinking about talk of Oliver going top 10.
I still really want him because he could fill a big need for us especially if Moore and Townsend end up just as stopgaps.
But top 10 seems a slight stretch for Oliver and I reckon he will be available to us at 12.
Sure he had a great TAC in the end, but he was most often playing against the lesser-likes.
I know he had some injuries but he didn't get picked for rep.
And he's a bolter, he's really come out of nowhere into these calculations. Most of the possible top 12-15 from this year would have been locks generally, so I don't see why he will displace them. Cockatoo got drafted top 10 based on 1 game so he was a bolter too, and so far he has looked just meh at AFL level.
Anyway here's hoping, cause I want a young contested bull at the club!
