90% sure Rippon will be a VFL recruit. Toured the facilities a couple of months back and has been exploring his options. The other 10% is in the event that the prospects we rate are off the table and Rippon is a fall back option.

Agree. With Quayle that we have no chance of landing Oilver
Happy with the 4 that Quayle is suggesting...she has been on the money in the past
But Milera will likely be snafflelled by Crows...Burton may still be there...unlikely so it's Ah Cheese or Ravioli
mmmmm, ravioli....

I've settled on Collins.
I have a bad feeling the Blues will pounce with their pick before ours.

If Collins goes at 11 it's just another failure by the Tigers. We keep doing it too. Cockatoo and Dugan last year, Salem and Kolodjashni in 13 and Ollie wines in 12.

I don't see Collingwood letting their draft targets get picked before their pick and that's why they'll pass us in a few years ;)

Wouldn't it be cool to see draft day trading ala the NBA. Boy would it make it interesting

Trading deadline should start in November (after the cup) and end after the draft.

Twofold because draft day trading would be exciting and most players should be back in Melbourne, instead of the farce of teams trying to get in contact with players on holiday.

Well there is some reshuffling going on at SEN.;)
Thank **** for that. I no longer have to listen to carlton carlton carlton all morning. Now we will get snippets of Melbourne but id take that anyday over the Carlton rubbish

I have narrowed it down to four prefrences Oliver, Burton, Collins, Ah Chee
I'm glad I'm not a recruiter, such a tough decision to be made. We will have a fine player available at our pick. What hole we fill with our first pick is a tough decision.
Big bodied inside mid? Gun fwd/big bodied mid? Chappy replacment? Small fed/mid?

I would be happy for us to go tall KPD this year as I think we have a big hole in supporting Rance...plus he only has 4 years left.

Chappy IMO is a battler who plays a role but would much prefer an upgrade. Elton I hope could come through, but he has to start showing something. Perfect KPD size.

Just watched the Collins vid. Big boy seems impressive. What did he run his 20m in as the profile says he is a touch slow. Great endurance and agility though.

I'd look to take Collins too if our preferred mid is gone by our pick. We probably need another key back soon, as well a big clearance mid and a crumbing option, after that a ruck. We've been unsuccessful with the mid but it could be an ideal opportunity to grab the KPD, shame we didn't off load Astbury now as there looks like there will be some nice options around 20-25.
