I dont get inside info often or at all really...but today....
I've heard that Dunkley is extremely keen to get to the Tigers.
His Dad Andrew had a massive falling out with the swans and dosent want his son to play there.
The curve ball is that other interstate teams are keen on Dunkley but he 100% wants to stay in Vic.
The other curve ball is that we wont take him at 12. If we kept pick 19 we would of taken him there....
My "source" also added that the Blues are keen on Dunkley and will probably take him at 19 if he is still avaliable.

dont shoot the messanger but thats what I've heard.

Do you think there's a chance Dunkley will tank his interviews to get to the Tigers at 48?

Thank **** for that. I no longer have to listen to carlton carlton carlton all morning. Now we will get snippets of Melbourne but id take that anyday over the Carlton rubbish
That campaigner mentions Carltoon when the topics on unrelated sports. More delusional than Trollor when he talks Carltoon up.

Heard basically the same. Though minus the whole falling out of the father thing.

It's becoming likely that the Blues may select a few kpps with there pick. Ive heard Weitering at 1. Burton at 8. Collins at 11. Dunkley at 19. Which to me doesn't make too much sense, but it could happen.

The craziness Ive heard in the last few weeks from my sources could mean the draft turns out:

1. Weitering
2. Schace
3. Curnow
4. Weiderman
5. Oliver
6. Francis
7. Parish
8. Burton
9. Milera
10. Collins
12 our pick

Obviously Mills, kennedy, hopper, keays etc get bid on so put pick is 15 or 16.

Check back tomorrow and ill have more rumours that muddy the waters

We did offer 12 for Yarran and 20, which would have enabled that.
From what I read a very solid citizen, played VFL for us, but questionable disposal

I'd look to take Collins too if our preferred mid is gone by our pick. We probably need another key back soon, as well a big clearance mid and a crumbing option, after that a ruck. We've been unsuccessful with the mid but it could be an ideal opportunity to grab the KPD, shame we didn't off load Astbury now as there looks like there will be some nice options around 20-25.
I forgot about Astbury. If Dave can stay injury free I am confident he can be a very good KPD to combine with Rance.

I think if we want to get a KPD in to replace Chappy because one isn't there then it needs to happen sooner rather than later. Can't be in our window relying on a 2nd/3rd year KPD.

Collins looks ready to step in straight away.

Unless there is a gun mid available I would prefer to go tall and then throw cash at Jager Omera next year.

You do realise that's said as a joke right?
No. I was listening live when he said it (about 2 years ago now). Mark Allen p*ssed himself laughing and Schwarz had no idea why. Every now and again, it gets brought up on the Saturday morning show by Hutchison/Pickering.

You really think Schwarz is smart enough to come up with a joke like that ? Cmon dude. You heard him try and pronouce defibrillator ?

I've got the same top 5, from my sources I'm not 100% Gold Coast are convinced on Francis. Blues really like H.McKay, so I'd suggest he's more likely at 8 than Burton- who didn't get great results from his medical the other week from what I've been told.

Still rather Schwartz to Maher any day of the week. Worst thing is as im on a mail run im usually listening for Harftime first hour which is good. I'll have to listen that that ****stick Maher again :(

Yeah, I'd have to probably agree with that.

Wouldn’t have any problem at all if we took Collins with our first pick. Fills an impending need. Strong, big boy with a bit of nastiness. Ready to go. Reckon we really lack for blokes with a bit of edge i.e. hurt factor, sledging etc. Hasn’t tapped out yet either so still has a lot of development potential in him as well.

Not super quick and not elite by foot but acceptable enough in both categories. Of the 5 or 6 we have in the mix, he might be top 2 or 3 for me.

Liked his interview where he was shown taking on Schace and come out and said he loved it and beat him. Got a bit of competativness about him. I wouldnt be dissapointed from the looks of that if we went that way. TBH im really not going to be dissapointed whoever we take. Love the look of Ah Chee, Collins and obviously Oliver if he somehow falls.

I have narrowed it down to four prefrences Oliver, Burton, Collins, Ah Chee
I'm glad I'm not a recruiter, such a tough decision to be made. We will have a fine player available at our pick. What hole we fill with our first pick is a tough decision.
Big bodied inside mid? Gun fwd/big bodied mid? Chappy replacment? Small fed/mid?
Pretty much the same for me Ryza

The only tweaks/clarifications I have is Oliver is clearly top for me with Burton number 2 subject to his injury. I would also add in Gresham.

So for me it is Oliver>>>>>>> Burton >> Collins / Ah Chee / Gresham

Second selection depends on the outcome of the first

I like the potential of Gach and his development of circa 2 years could fit into our time frame for an Ivvy exit. If we don't go a small in the first selection I also like the idea of Kerbatieh who I think moves a bit like Puopolo.

Heard that too. Also heard that Ben McKay is shaling up as a possibility at 19.

Regarding Burton Im not sure when this conclusion of Carlton taking him at 8 started. Could have been prior to his in depth medical. I think the thought behind was that Adelaide were keen with their first pick (IMO Milera doesn't make sense to them with Betts, Cameron and now Menzal) so the Blues would have to take him earlier.

With all this talk about Oliver, Burton, Collins pushing into the Top 10-12, someone has to drop out. I would love for Milera to slide to us.
I know its unlikely though

I think if someone was to fall it would be one of Francis or Milera. I think it will be Milera due to home sickness concerns as well as the fact that Adelaide really dont need another small/ medium forward.

he's nothing to write home about mate. Just an average to ok player. i rate him as a late third round pick. i hope we don't waste our pick 12 on him as there are much better options imo.
will be a handy player ,but i don't think he's A or B grade material

Maybe thats why we wern't going to stand in the way of Astbury getting to Brisbane.

I even got sick of KB.
Couldn't stand Hardford with his little whispering type of rolling commentary with Richarson.
