Whats the requirement for making the state combine? 1 afl club nominating you?
3 clubs for the national combine
2 clubs for the state combine
If you make it to a combine, clubs aren't allowed to test you individually.
If you don't make it to a combine, clubs can test you independently

I notice there aren't any Peel it East Perth players at the WA state combine...

Is that a thing?
I also noticed. I doubt it. Despite all the talk on here, it really wouldn't surprise me if the likes of Bootsma isn't given a look in. Not neccesarily due to his form, just a hunch.

One Peel kid, Schoenfeld, got invited to the national combine. Broke the 3k time trial too

Western Australia
Callum Ah Chee - South Fremantle
Greg Clark - Subiaco
Jesse Glass-McCasker - Swan Districts
Brayden Hackett - Swan Districts
Declan Mountford - Claremont
Joshua Schoenfeld - Peel Thunder
Dylan Smith - Swan Districts

Surely Bootsma gets a shot if available.

Also think we should consider Mason Shaw. Maybe just a 1 year contract.

And I swim against the tide on Kersten, especially if we can get with a player trade. Suban or Mzungu.

Also Jordan Snadden. He, Schoenfeld and Mountford were the best performers at the combine out of the local boys

Treloer done

Apologies - SEN (not Jay Clark) are reporting that the paperwork for Adam Treloar has been submitted tonight, with the to be completed tomorrow.

Collingwood will hand over first round picks in this year and next year's draft, and will receive Treloar and a second round pick in return.

Once again, we apologise for the confusion, and apologise to Jay Clark for getting him mixed up in this.
2nd rounder this year or next?

I like this about Hawthorn. They have a great recruiting team and a superb list management model. They know exactly where their list is at, who can be jettisoned and what they need,

They value known quantities: that is actual AFL standard footballers and know what use they can put them too. They then make the best offer they can with no bull shit.

I hope they get Carlisle as Alex Pearce has one year left on his contract and you can bet your arse his name is on top of their list for next year. "Alex, how would you like 450k straight up? Freo here's pick 19...Alex wants to Victoria...thanks very much."

Thy have Hodge, Burgoyne and Mitchell coming up. O'Meara and Prestia are on their board
AP has 3 yrs to go now. Going nowhere soon.

With GWS handing back their 2nd rounder do they have enough points for their academy players?
Sounds like it and they may trade out 8 as well. Could get a good player and lower picks if I read it correctly.

GWS will get No.7 (1644 pts) off Coll for Treloar. Same deal. Rival clubs all over it, trying to improve multiple, lower choice
GWS pick 8 (1551 points) Ess pick 23 (815) & pick 25 (756) = 1571 GWS better off with 23 & 25 to use on academy players.
Pick no.8 is a sitting duck. GWS only need it for points. Rivals trying to swap later choices (that add up to same points) for it.

Absolutely no doubt, Hawks are great recruiters.
