Gold Coast apparently keen on Howe. What would people think for compo? I would like thier second but not sure. At his best he is worth more but has shown too much inconsistency

I don't think that's even the worst.

Dream trade: Jesse Hogan. Luring the young Demons star to Fremantle would be the coup to end all coups, but Melbourne would require something better than what Fremantle delivered to Hawthorn for Trent Croad and Luke McPharlin in 2001. The deal then was picks one, 20 and 37. The Dockers would need to deliver two first-round picks and a young, quality midfielder to even get the Demons to the table. Even then it should probably be knocked back.
I stopped reading that article when I got to Freo and saw Jesse Hogan's name lol.

With all these trades Players want to play finals and in good teams.

Ask yourself this would you want to go to..
  • Brisbane
  • Carlton
  • Essendon
  • GWS
  • Gold Coast
  • Melbourne :-(
Even North hawthorn and Geelong have a small window with an aging list and these players have agents that tell them this daily so places players want to go to are..

Collingwood
Bulldogs
Richmond
out of all those teams bulldogs and gws would be the most attractive I think possibly gold coast too
carlton and Essendon I would have thought would be the least attractive
that's from a winning point of view
if its a fringe player just wanting to play then carlton ,Essendon and Melbourne would be the go

It's unlikely agents would be worried about this aspect.

If they were steering players in a particular direction, it would more likely be based on cash and the club's ability to get a deal done.

Is this the worst article of the year?

Dream trade: Jaeger O'Meara. The gun young midfielder decides the surf coast suits more than the Gold Coast, and Geelong jumps at the chance for some more compensation for the loss of Gary Ablett. The Suns, desperate for experience, take Mathew Stokes, Steve Johnson, Tom Lonergan and Andrew Mackie as a package deal in return.

I know it's a "dream trade", but come on...
Yeah, pretty bad.

How about this one for GWS?

Dream trade: Cyril Rioli. While it's nearly unthinkable that the star forward would leave the Hawks – or that the club would let him go – the prospect of rejuvenating the midfield in pursuit of a fourth flag might leave the door slightly ajar. It's the only hole in the GWS list so if Treloar wants to go, the Giants might as well use him to throw the proverbial kitchen sink at Rioli.

Hawks would need to throw in their next two first rounders to make this close to fair.

Tom bell for aish seriously? A guy who was rated as the number one draft pick for a long time for a bloke who would struggle to be in most sides best 22
Tom Bell can actually play at AFL level though, has been very good this year. Aish has shown absolutely 0 at AFL level so far.

I wouldnt want to trade Bell for Aish so that should tell you something

Bell can't kick. Aish is silky. Yes bell can win the hard ball as a trade he is worth a 3rd at most. Every club would take aish before bell

Aside from his 17 disposals per game in his debut year and going close to winning the Rising Star....

Have you even seen the kid play? He's had an average second year due to injury and speculation on his future hanging over his head. He is worth a hell of a lot more than a player like Bell, who will always be average at best.

Carlton are just hoping for another Docherty situation where they can give us chicken feed in return for a kid who'll be a gun when hes settled and committed to a club.
