Win/win at present Longer term we'll have two (Crisp & De Goey) gun midfielders playing for next 5-10 years.
Beams has 5 good years left.
would hold my horses on degoey he has not even played yet, Crisp is an excellent player but has issues with his kicking, wouldnt be jumping the gun yet they will both be 10 year players

Don't think Lions will trade with us, they tried to backdoor us in Beams deal and we trumpt them, so we shall see.
If by trumpt you mean "break our club's arbitrary/pointless self-imposed deadline" then yes. Check your emails, didn't the Pies send out a press release saying all negotiations with Brisbane were off?

De Goey is currently playing and has played past few games, looks a real footballer hard at it, he is going to be a gun, can't see him going back to VFL unless he drops off a bit and is given a spell which does happen to first year players

this isn't a docherty type situation where you offer us major unders, it will be between picks 10 to 15
Say Aish nominates the Blues and we finish last, you'd take 19 in a heartbeat.

Considering you want 10-15, 19 wouldn't be massive unders anyway. Maybe a 3rd/4th round pick upgrade would bridge the gap.

Salary cap wouldn't be a problem and we know SOS is bringing in plenty of young talent this season. Make it happen.

Instead of your second round pick maybe straight swap for Henderson
Think I read that Geelong have offered their first rounder (8-10?) for Hendo. Would probably take that offer over Aish, but surely Geelong would back themselves in the draft as a rebuild looks imminent.

Aish's value is higher than 19 and I think ultimately he will return more than that, BUT Brisbane have done him no favours not playing him in the 1s if he's going and can't complain if they get less than what his perceived value is.

Isn't he injured right now?
Yes but he wasn't earlier in the year when he couldn't get a game in a bottom side. If it's form based, and he genuinely can't get a game, then they should be happy with a 3rd round pick. If he's good enough and was being treated poorly, they run a risk of getting unders if he leaves. Either way, they need to look at the way they maximize their return from him, either as a player or as a trade target.

What's McStay worth?
early Second rounder?
Any teams be interested in him?
Surely your joking right. Only one of our forwards that's showed anything this year. Yes he is inconsistent but that's what young 19 yr old KPPs are. IMHO right now worth more than what we will get for aish.

Firstly. We won't be getting near a first round pick for him unfortunately he may be worth it but just won't happen.

Secondly. The kid has struggled for form and consistency in the magoos and had found it difficult in the seniors before playing out the saints game with a fractured jaw (mighty effort).

I want him to stay cause he will be a classy outsider but if he doesn't want to be here than so be it. Get what we can and move on like we did with the other boys that went home in 13.

Don't mean to sound like I'm having a go at you but try and get a grasp on what other clubs are actually doing before making up stuff like that. I'd love to see him back playing seniors because that's where he belongs but he has to play to a standard and can't get gifted games cause I think his head is big enough as it is.
