We would be crazy to trade Jetta...our slow pace and ultra slow ball movement has been exposed in every one of our losses! You build a team around this guy, not trade for an unknown wanna be talent.

NBA, Woodville,
if jetta wants to go west, not much we can do, and probably won't get market value for him either. Alex Pearce from Freo goes alright. Fills a need and wouldn't be on more than the league average.

What does our team need? Pace and foot skills. Who has those in our team? Lewis Jetta - nuff sed!

If he does go home it will be for their first pick which will buy us half a Callum Mills, hopefully with some change left over.

Yes there is, he's not a free agent, if he doesn't sign and we don't trade...the draft awaits! Alex who?

I want jetta to stay and i hope he does, but if he leaves its not the end of the world. Heeney will be pushing for a run in the middle as soon as next year , plus mills also coming into the side.

Mills is an inside mid (to go with the rest of them). Heeney isn't anywhere near as fast as Jetta.

I don't think we need a developing KPD. We already have developing KPD's. We need a KPD who can play next year and hopefully the year after until our youngsters can take over.
Schade is 21 - older than most of our allegedly developing KPDs. If he's good enough I'd definitely be interested, he may be a better option than them. Just existing and being over 190cm isn't enough to say we have depth in the position.

Closest player we have to jetta is hiscox, but his disposal by foot is poor unlike jetta's which is elite.

We lose literally our best line breaking player from a team that is already terribly slow and with Mills and dunks is only getting slower.....

It's amazing how slow a team looks when it misses targets.
A kicked ball travels faster than the fastest man on earth.

Even our quick handballs in congestion are not accurate enough nor are they pack clearing handballs. Too many of our entries into the forward 50 are on the back a player kicking under pressure, hence why the poor strike rate when inside 50.

Our skills across the board need to improve. A drop in confidence can suddenly drop your skill level.
The main engine room is still intact & they are getting plenty of the ball. The turnovers are energy draining.

We still have rohan who is capable of playing the line breaking role

But he might go and get it more than Jetta

I agree with all of the above, just saying that with all his faults, we dont have a ready replacements, whereas if Mitchell for example left, whilst a loss we have cover in that position.

Jetta is the best kick in the team and has a brilliant football brain. Losing him would be massive as he sets up so much play for us.

And we wont even be compensated for him. The corrupt AFL, McGuire and Hawthorn will have another victory against us, while the hawks will be gifted another KPP for being hawthorn. So far McGuires karma is jesse white.

I swear beating up on the swans is like beating up on a nerd at school. We are nerds and when we do try and exert some agro it comes across nerdy.

Interested in him, I think someone like Joel Tippett should be considered as well. Will be as cheap as chips and can play next season.

If Jetta goes what does everyone think of a Jetta for Silvani + some steaknives coming our way. I know it is a loss but Silvani is a genuine defender.

If Jetta did leave, I suspect the club would try to get a first round pick for him to use with our first rounder to get Mills. Two low first round picks would be enough to get Mills in the top 4 or 5 with barely any sacrifice of other picks.

True and I will say that I am assuming Mills is valued about 8 with my proposed trade. Maybe a Silvani + Freo's first for Jetta +our 3rd.

You are correct though, they will just take the first and go. I just feel if we can get a read made KPD or ruck in this trade we should.
