I'm wondering if the AFL will go through with the idea of letting us and richmond play ANZAC day eve. Which next year would mean we would play a friday night game. The idea seemed promising, and it sounded like the AFL was pleased with the suggestion, but i haven't heard anything since

Despite losing their first 6 games and making people doubt Roos as the messiah, Melbourne ends up winning 9 games for the season in a sound year.

That is an optimistic projection, but if Melbourne starts 0-6 then there is little chance they will win 9 out of the next 16 games, even if they are all against St Kilda - the players would be too mentally shook up.

Lol if we go 0-6 I expect this board to implode

s**t I lost hope after the 0-2 start and were saying we were going to go 0-22 for the year

0-6 lol

Expect the unexpected , we were underdogs in all of our wins an Lost against every bottom side

Looks like Carlton is getting the prestigious match against St Kilda in New Zealand on ANZAC day instead of us.

I don't see this as a bad thing tbh.

I love the Melbourne - Richmond game. Always feels like a good old fashioned game of footy against two historic clubs.
The fact it would be a Friday night is a bonus. Considering ANZAC eve isn't really a thing I doubt that would matter much.
