Don't know if this has been mentioned. But Geelong have three stars that are FAs and all 3 probably can't be there next year.

Should we try and get 1 of Bartel, Johnson or Kelly for 1 or 2 years as a DFA.

A Daniel Cross like move...

No thanks - they're not stars anymore.

Couldn't see any of them playing a year at another club anyway to be honest.

Kruzer is the interesting name on that list for mine. 3rd forward option come ruckman?? Wouldn't cost the earth you'd think, and we're bucket loads closer than Carlton.

They will all probably finnish up at Geelong. Anyway i wouldn't want Johnson doing a mentor role like cross anyway

We keep talking about how S*** our skills are, wouldn't mind the left foot weapon of Matty Suckling drilling it down Hogan's throat.

Not a fan of Suckling. Something about him makes me think he's only as good as the team he plays for.

Even shanking it he would still be one of our best kicks

His is the only name that stands out there , everything else is meh

I'd take bartel for a year or 2 for nothing ... The other 2 are done

Yeah I was watching FC and didn't really think it through. Just coz we got lucky with Cross, there are no guarantees it'll happen again. I'd rather a 3rd year from Cross than double dipping from that well.

No thanks, Cross still had something to offer. Johnson looks slow and really off the pace of AFL, Bartel will stay on another year, Kelly maybe.

Kruzer plays his best footy as the no. 1 ruckman, Carlton tried him forward with no success. Besides he will re-sign with Carlton.

It would all come down to what Kruezer would cost us. He's actually showed his best form in years in recent months - so I'm a little cautious he could be slightly over-valued at the moment. I'd rather see him put 12 months together before looking at him I think.

Kurt Tippet?

If we could swap him for Chris Dawes yeah

Would normally agree re: Kreuzer but he looks to be moving really well in the 19 Carlton Friday night games I've seen this year (What? Another one this Friday? Fantastic!). He's a decent forward option the way he's playing - the level of service provided by teammates is a level below ours. Can he stay fit? Debatable, but good luck to the guy.

I'd imagine he'd stay at Carlton, although there's the sliver of a chance they decide to let him go as a former #1 pick who's still relatively young and likely to attract a bit of interest on the market. Probably enough to get Carlton a deal similar to the Frawley for Brayshaw one we snaffled.

Yeah he looks real healthy. I'd be interested in him if he's Gumbleton'd his value down enough to get him without giving up anything great.

Should of drafted him

Would have been a dud if we had. Only thing he could have done is noped the * out of here early enough to save his career.
