No. But you're coming of as a fair old sook.

People seem to forget that we won 3 FLAGS! One of the best (if not the best) of the modern era. It's really not all that bad, people :p
Won = past tense. 3 years ago and counting.

No it isn't that bad, but Geelong has a terrible cultural history of embracing mediocrity and being content to finish 2nd. As soon as you start overly celebrating the past instead of focusing on the present we'll be doomed to repeat it.

Unless Lions offer Rich for Bundy, then I can't see a suitable trade with them.

As for GCFC, I could see the Cats settle with pick 15 for him, or better still a straight swap for their Kolo (2013 pick 4?!?) would slot straight into Kelly or Mackie role.

In time the Hawks will look the better team with their 3 flags. Despite our H/A doinence it counts for nothing, with the lack of duscpline on and off the feild and players wanting out I really questions Joel's and Scott's leadership.

Hard questions needs to be asked in the club
I don't think they will necessarily, given the 2008 model is almost a different team to the back to back team.

Think we may have missed a trick not bringing in Jeff Garlett given our need for a crumbing forward and his availability for a cut-down price. I wouldn't have parted with either of our first two picks, obviously, but pick 61 is an absolute bargain for someone who has shown the ability he has at AFL level. Good business by Melbourne.

good get for Melbourne as they need to be competitive but we don't need someone as soft as garlett

So because I question things I'm a fair weather supporter?
We have had a couple of minor incidents off field( I presume you refer to Smedts-just a goose of a kid. I don't presume you include Bundy's situation in that description, that would be unfair).
We have had pretty well no on field disciplinary issues other than Stevie J-another goose- getting sited for bs incidents ( nothing in them).
And you think Scott and Selwood's leadership need to be scrutinized?
Is that it?
Its all right to question things, but not sure panic mode is justified.;)

God i hope this three way deal involving Varcoe to the Pies for Clark is all bullshit. We are getting the worst end of that deal given the amount of risk we are taking on with Clark. Unless there's picks attached to the deal, we shouldn't be anywhere near it, Varcoe's worth more than just Clark given the amount of risk associated with Clark.

it means he can make them better but he is not the kind of player you would have in order to win a flag
Ah, OK- but I think the flag choo-choo train has chuffed off and gone for the moment.... :(

And we've had a few blokes who have been carried along to a flag- I'm sure if we were almost there, a small quick crumber would be an asset, not a liability. (I DO have the right bloke, don't I?)

It's a risk no doubt, but the ceiling on Clark is higher than Varcoe. Key Forwards/Rucks are harder to find/develop than mids/utilities.
