I said earlier today I would consider #1 and #20 for Treloar, McCarthy, Tomlinson and Plowman. That was before the "possibility" of Treloar in the PSD.

Tomlinson, Plowman, Sumner and Philips for some second rd selections/compo for Yarran and Henderson, then select Weitering with #1 and score Treloar in the PSD. I think we would DESTROY our trading relationship with the GWS but it would be one hell of an off season !!!!!!!!!!
i really dont wanna give up Weitering but if gws were happy to trade with us it would be to good to knock back

Negligible difference - 4 spot upgrade on your Cas value, 8 spot upgrade on your Bell value in exchange for a 20 spot downgrade on 38.

We'd be getting in 1893 points on the AFL system and trading out 1850 points.

yeah thats true, if we can get 21, 22 and 58 for cas bell and 38 i reckon wed be laughing. i feel on looks its too far in our favour.

*murmuring* It's a joke, I was lukewarm on Lamb and people made out that I love him

*clears throat* You take that back!

Didn't the Northern Blues finish 2nd last. I am looking forward to Lamb being an excellent player for them and improving their position next year.:D

Hawks cut Sam Grimley... Any interest?
Woodward delisted ... Hawks hoping to rookie ... I'd snap him up if we can.
Good to see that Blues fans prefer to scrape the bottom of the barrel for the rebuild ??

Please ............ we are on the bottom of the ladder for good reason, we insist on bringing in cast-offs from other club & players of dubious talent.

We have to focus on genuine talent and only genuine talent, forget this "he fills a need" rubbish, sheesh, I could sit in the forward pocket as a goal sneak to "fill a need" but we all know it would only be a stop-gap measure.

I'd prefer to keep Casboult. We have no key forwards otherwise. not to mention lose a back up ruckman. Might gain a little on the points but we lose big time with a key forward. Casboult averaged 1.5 goals a game with the worst delivery ever and spending alot of time in the ruck. Those guys you keep Never give away your KP players unless you have a back up plan. Too hard to get in a trade, a long time, with no guarantees, to develop in the draft. How many goalkickers do we want to lose/give away. We've lost Betts, Garlett, Waite, about to lose Henderson and now we're talking Casboult. We played finals with that strength, plus Walker's 50 goals. Now most are gone and we're on the bottom. Guessing if you kick too many goals at Carlton it's off you go. We are looking to get off the bottom, not stay there.

Those two are worth 2nd rounders on their own anyway. That package looks way better than it actually is and puts a big hole in our forward line. They can give us pick 21 for Bell. Not sure a 2nd round KP player could replace what Casboult does anyway.

Not liking any talk of losing Casboult, important player for us from a structural point of view. I thought he had a good year and is improving
Indeed, kicked 24.12 .. what is that, a conversion rate of 66.6%? Far better then other seasons. Though to be fair is 24 goals from 16 games, enough output from him?

That equates 33 goals from 22 games. He had a slow start too, especially with his early season kicking. Given the fact he spent time rucking and had the worst delivery ever, yes, that output isn't bad for a player in a dual role. With normal delivery he could spend time in the ruck and push 45-50.

I prefer my version to his... plus the bonus with mine is that we get to keep 2 first round draft picks and a second round draft pick.

Is Phillips the only one we are going to go after to address what seems to be a Ruck issue? or is that why Casboult's name keeps coming up in-relation to a Bell trade, him + Bell for Aish and Leuenberger?

There is a lot of conjecture about this year's draft being particularly weak. At what point in the draft order have the 'experts' determined that the talent pool becomes quite weak?

His goal kicking has certainly improved under the tuition of Sav Rocca. They say big men take longer to develop/mature than smaller players. An example is Josh Kennedy when he was on our list. Showed potential early, but didn't star. Traded to Wrest Coast in the Judd deal Now look at him with them, Coleman medalist and a star. Hopefully, this could happen with Levi?

Why am i reading suggestions of Trading Casboult... madness. His development along with Bells was our only rays of positive light in 2015 (outside of Cripps) we have done the hard yards with Levi wtf would we now get rid of him..
Seems we are trying to get rid of anything with any value?
