How many blues players have yet to be signed for 2016? its looking like a fair few will be delisted. I just did a spreadsheet and included all the new guys added by trade, and found we have only two remaining slots on the list (with Yaz yet to go).

You have to choose a minimum 3 players in the national draft so who are we delisting?
Warnock... White (?), Armfield (?), White (?), Gowers (?), Walsh (?), Foster (?), Fields (?)
Would that be a list of 40 senior players? Or still the 38 that we had this year?

So if we trade both our 2nd rounders for GWS 1st they are actually way up on points:

Carlton trade #20 (912) + #21 (878) = 1790 --> GWS for #10 (1395)
Tomlinson is worth more than 395 points but if we got any picks for any or all of Warnock, Jones, Rowe, Tutt, Forster, Fields, & Gowers.

We could end up w/ picks 1, 8, 10, & 12 as well as the 59, 60 for SOSOS

My prediction is that the Giants want to go into the draft with a mid 1st Rd selection this year and enough points to nab the two academy kids. For this to occur they will need another injection of points, they are borderline if they include #10 atm so will have to give up something of value to get enough points for the kids without it.

my hope/prediction is that we will actually get the Tomlinson deal over the line with the 12 +20 + 21 for #10 and Tomlinson. It will give the Giants the points to get the academy kids plus keep #12 live in the draft for them to use.

The Giants have shown that they love to spread the age profile of their players, thus why they wanted out Geelong 2016 pick. This would result in an injection of three more great kids into their system at the expense of an excess kpf. I think this is why we are so determined to get#12 from Richmond. Would be happy to send Yarran and next year's 3rd Rd pick to Richmond to get #12 over the line too

Cripps, Murph and Gibbs to battle it our for leading goalkicker.

Will probably be Walker or Everitt actually!
Yeah you are probably right, Adelaide must be giggling at us giving them Betts & Menzel to sit beside Walker & Jenkins.
Didn't they almost get Walker a few years ago as well??
