Yeah I find it a little strange given how many tipped us to slide. Would rather go past quietly than be the talk of the town.
The West is worse! back page is about how we have poorly recruited and left our midfield vulnerable. WCE story is about how GWS will struggle to hold off Hurn with Palmer injured!

it's on the back page - I will see if I can find a digital copy. The headline is "Unperturbed: Dockers Defend Recruiting After Free-Agent Flop"
Average article. Nothing said about the midfield being stacked or that there are currently four or five midfielders in form for the top of the ladder peel.

Erodes Peel's Small forward depth would have been more accurate.

Someone mentioned there is an article by Kim about wc players who would slot into the Fremantle Dockers team, presumably improving them.
Anybody know where that article is ?

I presume it was only a two word article - Josh and Kennedy.
I would have thought he would rate six almost a great mark and 13 fumbles a game highly.
Also curious to see if their Brownlow medallist would improve our midfield.

I'd keep Clarke and Duff any day of the week
Yeah I like them because they are ours. But as a long term replacement for sandi I would rather no marks nat tapping to fyfe et al.
As for hurn over a 31 year old duffield. He can kick as good as duff and is quicker. I think I would have more confidence in hurn one on one against the elite smalls also. Having said that, absolutely love when duff has the ball.
