Worst just selling papers... anything to put a dark cloud over freo. Mora will get the treatment, freo will come out and re-sign him (or move to rookie list) and it will barely be mentioned

Channel 7 really should've had three stories on it, rather than just the two they had in the one night.
It was the first thing that came into my mind. They must be so tired of his name being there every week.
Apparently there was an article about Brisbane chasing KPP players, the article was mostly about Rance, bu they mentioned Brisbane and Fremantle are chasing Charlie Dixon. I think it was Mark Robinson that wrote it. It's highly likely that he, like every other 'journalist' just threw freo in and assumes we're interested because hes a forward. What are peoples opinions of Charlie Dixon? Me personally, I don't think he is anything special, he wouldn't come cheap, so I'd prefer to not make a trade for him, just don't see him being a gun forward.
Like me, he has a thing with mini bars when he travels.
They have to keep replaying it too, probably to prove that he actually held a mark for once. He's up to 8 marks from 9 games now which gives him an average of 0.88 marks per game. Time for another Today Tonight "puff piece" I think.
Charlie Dixon is a very big key forward, unstoppable on his day, good kick and if his head was right would be a great pickup.
Unfortunately though reality tells me that as he is not a WA boy the chances that he wants to come to Freo above a Melbourne team would be almost 0%
On 360 the other night Robbo ask if they could get Ross on, and Gerard said some thing along the line of "you know we can't, and thats my fault". Does anyone know what that might be about? Surely not the article(s) that he wrote when Ross first came over, that would surely water under the bridge by now.

Deceitful, duplicitous and distasteful? And also having another crack at him just before the final in Geelong? If I was Ross, I wouldn't be going on the show either

Don't understand the logic in that when we have Apeness developing, who is of similar size and can ruck as well. Would be way better off waiting a year or two and putting an offer to Jesse Hogan or Mcarthy who are WA boys and barracked for Freo from a young age and probably still do quietly

He got personal and attacked the man. Whateley is generally good, but he is a handbagger. One eyed in his appraisal of Geelong and attack on things that offend Geelong.

This is exactly the point.
Charlie Dixon would complement Taberner perfectly. Dixon playing deep and Taberner using his tank further up the ground. I could fit Hogan in at full forward alongside Dixon too. As for McCarthy, he's a completely different player and about 25kgs lighter than Dixon. He can play on the flank.

Let's say we do what your suggesting, what then happens if:
1. Ape sucks
2. Hogan stays at dees
3. McCarthy stays in Sydney
