Watched AFL360 tonight and Bomber was asked on whether he would be concerned about Hawthorn's form leading into the finals. He said he wasn't and nor was he worried about Freo and referenced when he was coaching the Cats in 2007 and 2009 where they dropped games in the run to the finals. He made the point that sub consciously you just try and get through and prepare yourself for finals.

I hope he is right! One at least has to respect that it's coming from someone with runs on the board that has 'been there and done that'. So, I dream on and like many on this forum live in hope and optimism that we're in it up to our ears. If however you're on the pessimistic side, you could tune into Mark McClure who dwelled on our inability to score as our Achilles heel (offset by Kingy who continues to believe).

Bomber's take below.

Didn't know where to put this. A good interview with our assitanct coach Simon Eastaugh. In regards to Fyfe, its a fresh injury that 'came from nowhere' but seems quite confident they're doing the thing for him. He's very optimistic about where we are at.
Good listen

Can't wait for the new stadium.

https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/29371021/dockers-celebrate-sell-out-season/

The game against Melbourne on Sunday is due to be sold out by bouncedown, meaning every available ticket will have been purchased for all 11 Dockers home matches in 2015.

Fewer than 300 tickets were still available yesterday.

The historic level of interest in Fremantle fixtures has capped off a season in which the league leaders are just two wins away from securing the minor premiership for the first time in the club’s 21-year history.

Membership this week peaked at a record 51,526 for the season — an increase of 5.3 per cent on last year’s mark of 48,777.

The Dockers had never broken through the 50,000-membership mark before 2015.

Another interesting read from a neutral journo.

I like this bit at the end:
"Fremantle’s current percentage of 122 would be the worst percentage for a minor premier since 2006. Who finished top of the ladder that year? The West Coast Eagles, who went on to win Western Australia’s most recent premiership."

We comfortably beat WC in the last derby of the H&A season that year too

Ross spoke to Karl and Brad on 6pr tonight about resting players for this weekend and the game yesterday. Have a listen.

Didn't know where to put this as it's got bits of resting players & non-Freo, but here we are...

Hats off to the Carlton social media people for sending this tweet in response to them only having a max of 25 available players this weekend :
