Geelong are terrible. Still trying to play that arrogant play-on game that worked for them back in the good 'ol days. Pies are murdering them.

Kelly has to retire now surely. Bartel deserves 300 but sheesh he's been awful too.

Geez I've watched that Stephen hill goal about 100 times at least
My favorite was the 2012 Elimination Final end of the 1st Quarter when the Geelong players were arguing and blaming one another.

Priceless. Lyon F&cked them hard that night.

I'm not sure we've ever put together a better quarter than quarter 1 in that game. Fringe guys like Suban, MDB and Clancee were all kicking clutch goals and Pav was just a monster.
Agreed. Especially in a final. Pav would have kicked 8 if he didn't get injured. Absolute beast mode.

Derby 1 this year was insane, but final was better.

1st quarter in the 2013 prelim is up there too, in terms of sheer dominance anyway. Kicked 2.9 which even for us is crazily inaccurate.

While giving 1st half analysis, Bomber thompson had to ask another panel member who a player was for Collingwood (Adams).
That's pathetic.
It's weird.

Because reading the Chip Le Grand book about the supplements saga, Bomber comes across as one of the most well considered and reasonable units in the entire furor. Beyond Reid, the only one with sense and the ability to objectively assess his failings. Yet in commentary he can't get his words out.

Maybe it's a time pressure thing.

I think he's just an average commentator. He couldn't pronounce Blicavz's name and kept getting Lonergan and Enright (I think) confused while commentating the Geelong v Freo game earlier this year. You'd think he'd know :p
