For the 101st time

Ah, memories.
Ahhh that was beautiful. Being there on the day was a bit of "wtf happened... run you good thing ruuuunnnn hillllllyyyyyyyyyy ahhhhhhhwoooooooooo!!!!!"

I went down to last night's game and it felt good to boo Stevie J in what's probably going to be his last game ever. Menzel was amazing, trying his heart out, and the rest of Geelong just couldn't care less.

Poor rockliff. He'd be winning the brownlow count getting numbers like that week after week if he played in a half decent team
Perhaps. But he got huge number when we smashed them some not long ago and I hardly noticed him the whole game. Somehow not very damaging.

PS 45 disposals, 13 clearances, 12 tackles in a 105 - 22 loss. Rnd14 last year.

They are eating their own on the cats board' throwing out their stars.
The whole Cats situation is interesting to me. Their whole team peaked at the same time, which is why they were able to snare three premierships. Now they've all gotten old. I think they will probably be the most active club during the trade period.

I'm half expecting them to delist players with more to offer.

Steve Johnson and Bartel have another year in them.

Port will be very hard to beat next week. It's kinda amusing how people on here think they will just not give a shit.
Don't know what thread you've been reading mate, I haven't read anyone suggesting that.
There's been a few who have suggested that Port will be in 'off season mode'. But I wouldn't say that's the majority. I for one think Port will come out firing on all cylinders and will take the win. They've set their minds to finishing the season in 'top 4' form and I always thought they would. Our only chance of winning is if we:

1. go in with our absolute full strength team
2. playing as if a finals birth or top 2 depended on it.

We wont and it doesn't (hopefully), hence Port will win easily.

That North result shows how bad our form is.
Rubbish. North has to work really, really hard to get over the top of Freo. Spent all their chips and didn't have enough for the Bulldogs game. Plus, sides at this time of the year can switch on and off. See Hawthorn last week.

Work really, really hard AND had to rely on our players' on-going brain farts in the second, when we were dominating and didn't convert.
