Strange that, even though for the game of their 9 goals 6 of them had a direct involvement from the umpires
I think it would be really champion of you to go over there and point that out.

Appreciate it if someone could fill me in on the Clarkson presser. On the last day of a holiday in Bali and the Australian television station here has now cut the telecast. Thanks in advance.
  • Eagles were good, Hawks were bad
  • Fumbled too many half chances
  • Will back the side in to get job done
  • Had a go at the umpires

Today I was happy Frawley went to the Hawks....when Mitchell and Hodge and Burgoyne hit the wall, and that will be soon, the Hawks will really suffer. Their mid range players are nothing special.
what about O'Rourke though? Wasn't he suppose to be an absolute gun? Perhaps the talk of him being soft and GWS weren't too fussed seeing him leave are true :)

The other one is Shiels. Quite an average footballer.
Obviously Langford is glaringly obvious. Wouldn't be surprised if he's dropped again for their do or die final against Adelaide/Western Bulldogs.

Gee I reckon other sides will try and run the Hawks off their feet...Got to say I love watching the dogs when they are on.

Be interesting to see if they are brave enough in a final.

Yea...the Squarks were crowing about O'Rourke....hasnt shown much to date. I liked Langford last year.....but seems to have stagnated, or regressed really.

Didn't he sign recently on a longish term contract? On present form, another ordinary player filling their ranks.

Hahaha really?

Obviously the umpires fault the Eagles kept getting to the ball first, and then when the Hawks did have the ball they couldn't handle the pressure and kept just blindly throwing it onto their boot... yep makes sense :D

Hope there is alot of doggie's fan's going tonight, atleast 20,000 to 30,000 crow's drove/flew over yest/today.
Pity the doggie's are a lil under manned in the rucks dept, i think every where else they match up well against the crow's. Apart from our game last week, they the cow's had some pretty good form coming into september.

Things i learnt
1.likely a derby gf-i tip the eagles
2.hawks cant win it from here-road too hard
3.watching hawks lose is delicious
4.watching tonight showed me the value of good rucks-i wish we had one and hope we get one this trade period.
I'd settle for the Eagles tackling coach they hardly missed one last night, you didn't see the West Coast minding space and guarding grass they were all over Clarko's mob like a cheap suit.

Langford tries his heart out and gets a lot of the ball... but that's a bad thing for the Hawks since you gurantee that he was going to kick it the Eagles.

And what about Hodge,'imposing himself' (Lingy and Bruce)? Too little too late, he was Mr Invisible when it mattered. I had to ask myself 'is he the sub'?

The only way he even got into the game was the umpires. And then he goes on LeCras to shut him down and looked stupid in the last quarter when LeCras passed it to the player on the goal line.
