Pick 39 - Ben Crocker -

Could become one of those valuable midfielders that does not look out of place up forward. I was massively impressed by his ability in the air, one of the best marks for his height in this draft class. I can see him playing a Bruest styled role at AFL level and many teams may struggle to match up on him.

Pick 40 Fremantle - Thomas Cole (VIC – MID/DEF)
Height: 185cm, Weight: 76kg, DOB: 28/08/1997
Recruited from: Bendigo Pioneers

Half-back flanker that can move into the midfield. Versatile player and I feel he is a solid selection at pick 40

#41 Brisbane Callum Moore (VIC – KPF)
Height: 193cm, Weight: 85kg, DOB: 03/09/1996
Recruited from: Calder Cannons

Was Hoping that Sam Skinner would last until brisbane's pick but cfc4life put an end to that thought
2 players i considered here and elected to take Callum Moore as Brisbane need KPD and the other player will probably last until the Rookie draft which is Delisted defender M.Watson as a mature big body defender

beowulf your up mate

Pick 42: Sydney: Harrison Westoff
Height: 195cm,
Weight: 90kg,
DOB: 15/10/1997
Recruited from: West Adelaide
Profile: Sydney need tall defenders and their picks won’t give them the cream of the crop. Sydney's defence is getting older and less capable of strangling sides, even at the SCG. They have a number of decent Academy types, but not ones who will go this early. However, luckily for them, Westoff is still available. He is a good kid who did quite reasonably at the Championships this year and has the size to fit the bill.

I think I have another pick here. So....
Pick 43: Sydney: Thomas Jok
Height: 190cm,
Weight: 72kg,
DOB: 01/01/1997
Recruited from: Dandenong Stingrays
Profile: Jok is another African lad who is as raw as they come. However, he has a huge upside and may develop into something special. I saw him early in the season playing against the Pioneers at QEO and he showed what he can do. He has good pace and will be a Majak Daw sort of athlete when he is done.
Game sense is the question, and he has a lot of learning to do in that area. But he can jump, he can run, he is incredibly light weight at the moment but that will change.
He is a speculative pick, no doubt. But Sydney need big defenders and most of them have gone. They don't need forwards: they have them already. They don't need mids: they are getting Mills on top the ones they already have and may get Dunkley is they are smart (not an assured event).
Their ruck division is a weakness, but they have young rucks. They need experienced rucks and they missed out. So a speculative pick is their best option.

if they get others picks in the late 60's or 70's, then they will go with some of their Academy kids. These kids were OK, but not to the standard of Mills.
