Witts *coll vs Hickey *stk
Hickey. i've been considering him myself
my main concern is that the new ruck scoring will hurt him and he doesnt do a lot of the other things that will earn you SC points.
...then theres the knee and foot problems he had last year. and i dont think he's fully fit yet

that said, i've still got him penciled in at R2

Considering Dane Swans popularity, would it be crazy to go with a Dale Thomas, Jack Ziebell, Higgins, Wright, Bonts, taylor adams or basically anyone else at the 400k mark and save yourself some cash + uniqueness??? also hypothetically, which of these options is likely to score the highest?? thanks hahaha

There is a reason he is popular. Could end up behind the eight ball taking a risk with guys like Adams or Ziebell.

Yes it would be crazy, Swan is a proven scorer and will score much more than those mentioned

I'd say Bontempelli would score the most out of those though, plenty of midfield time and I doubt he'll get tagged

Yea I am not sold on Swan, he bloody burnt me so hard last year and it still keeps me up at night!

Ziebell maybe... Thomas maybe.... Higgins maybe.... Actually I think all the players you listed could potentially average 95-100, but could easily aeverage 75-80. All risky options.

Another risky option, thoughts on Cloke returning to form this year? Is bloody dirty cheap and has hopefully a fit and able Jesse White offering some assistance.

Keep in mind, it's only really worth having a POD if they're going to score as well if not better than the popular player

You're worried by Swan burning you on one hand and then ask the question re Trav Cloke on ther othero_O Out of the frying pan and into the fire!!!

I was a bit worried about Swanny myself to be honest, but I've seen him train 3 times since Xmas and play the intra club. He looks a totally different person from this time last year. Even in the drills they can't get the footy off him. He just continually runs to the right spot to get it. Nothings a certainty of course, but he's not going anywhere from my team

Or option 3 - Naitanui, Beams & KK
I still prefer option 2. Beams is great, but we don't know how the move to Brisbane will affect his scoring. KK could possibly break out this year ... could! But you're relying on him doing that. Way too speculative for me.

Just chucking an option out there dude, would never pick him lol. Appreciate your feedback on Swanny, that's good to hear.
