Looks like m0nty has done all the teams for the draftee's on the fanplanner, has anyone had a play around with it yet? Still think some things will change (can't see Swallow being a forward, Bennell should be a mid).

What's everyone come up with?

1st draft of my team which will no doubt change 1000's of times before the first lockout
DEF: Hanley, Shaw, Swallow, Hibberd, R Henderson, Lamb (D Mckenzie, Wigg)
MID: Ablett, Fyfe, Pendlebury, Ward, Rich, Brayshaw, C Ellis, Heeney (Boekhurst, Freeman)
RUC: Leuenberger, Kreuzer (Griffin, Frampton)
FWD: Franklin, Martin, Gray, Dangerfield, Clark, Hogan (Karnezis, Steele)

87k left in the bank. Can see Danger, Gray and Swallow turning into just mids.
Will assess who is looking fittest out of Kreuzer/Bellchambers/Leuenberger in pre season but reckon Leuey will share ruck a lot with Martin which will effect his scoring and may play a lot up forward due to Brisbanes lack of key forwards.

You're missing a midfielder

You little Anzacs - warms my heart to see teams forming in December. Great stuff lads.

Also pleased to see some astute early selections - particularly robust on Tommy Lamb - good to see him appearing in backlines already.

here is one I quickly knocked up.
Rookies will become clearer later after nab cup.
If Lids is fwd/mid he's in. Also I'm hoping Swan is fwd/mid as well

DEF: M. Hibberd, K. Kolodjashnij, L. McDonald, B. Waters, S. Biggs, H. Goddard (K. Langford, D. Viojo-Rainbow)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, J. Selwood, R. Griffen, D. Swan, N. van Berlo, C. Petracca, A. Brayshaw (I. Heeney, N. Freeman)

FWD: R. Gray, L. Franklin, D. Martin, J. Garlett, T. Boyd, M. Clark (J. Hogan, J. Lonie)
CASH LEFT: $386,700

Goddard is baffling. Ditto Garlett.

I think Gartlett will make some coin this year at Melbourne. Goddard well I did say rookies will become clearer after the nab cup

Can't believe I just made a team in December. Can you tell I am bored at work?
Having a look at it, there would seemingly be plenty of positional and financial changes still to come. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
Happy with my first crack at it though

Is he from your era Jock? According to footy wire he's 114 years old. :) (To be fair, it looks like all draftees are showing the same at the moment. Birth date entered as 1st Jan 1900. Obviously still some updating being done.)

I will be surprised if D Swallow retains def status. Absolute lock if he does, but I would be shocked if he did.
I don't disagree, but I kept him there as Fanplanner thinks he's a defender.

Of course my side will likely be updated after Virtual Sports announce price and position changes. Unfortunately I suspect there'll be an extreme lack of premo defenders.

The bolded players are acting as placeholders.
Seriously doubt Swallow will keep DPP, and will be replaced by NDS if he gets it.
Zorko and Rough are in for Lids and Swan purely to keep the $$$ as accurate as possible.

Strong. That's a midfield I'd hate to face early next year.

DEF: Hanley, Swallow, Shaw, Waters, Reid, Rookie (Rook, Rook)

Does FF have Petracca listed as a midfielder only? I'm hoping SC may list him as a mid/fwd given that he's considered a forward turned midfielder and that Melbourne will almost certainly play him as a forward at first.

FF has him listed as M/F. I think SC will do the same.
