That's what I heard also. Given he is back training and is said to be in full training by mid Jan, I can't see how he is going to miss the start of the season. Especially given the late start owing to the cricket WC.

I was thinking of putting in scharenberg to. But he did his acl in round 22 this year i think. Not sure he will be back for the start of the year, confident he will be back? Could be a good tradew down option later i reckon
This article seems to make it pretty clear that the earlier reports of a long recovery were wrong and that he'll be ready to go for the start of the season.

Reckon you'll find that team would be close to 1 million over the salary cap once prices come out.
Also, what's the deal with people picking Ben Reid? Sure he will be cheap, but he's not much of a SC scorer from memory....even as a cash cow.

Has averaged 80 across a full season in 2011 & 2013. Will depend on role, but still a good option, especially if the rookies are fairly thin.
