I think all our Additions over the Trade/Draft Period have all at least shown Promise:

  • Treloar - Was Huge in the 1st Half of the Season. Fallan off a bit in 2nd but still just about our best player nearly every week
  • Howe - Did not start well with the Injury to his hand and Possible Lying about it but has come in and Played very well down back. Played the Role we where hoping Scharanberg was going to Play.
  • Aish - Had a Very Poor start but dropped to the VFL and dominated in VFL as Midfield. Then came back and keep getting Better since Returning. Exciting how good he can become
  • Sier - Not done a Lot but showed bit in VFL. Seems a Good Kick and Good around Clearnce
  • Wills - Dominating in the VFL but not got a Game Yet
  • Phillips - Doing very well at VFL Level and played 3 Games at AFL where he was Solid in 2 and Good in 1 of them
  • Crocker - Been Very Good in VFL. Very Strong Mark and Kicking Goals. Played AFL early then Expected but did a Good Job
  • Smith - Been very Reliable at AFL Level.
That is a Very Good Recurting Class

Is this where I learn about how to update my drapes cheaply?

Two successes in Treloar and Howe. Crocker and Phillips promising. The rest are very much wait and see.

Why didn't you include Golds in the OP?

Forgot Golds.

Well Outside of Howe and Treloar. Are all wait and see then

im still not sold on Aish but he is improving. Could only go in one direction though from start of year! Have worries about him being a bit soft and going t water under real pressure but i may be being overly critical. As he gets a bit stronger wont be able to get pushed around as much and can take some hits better and land more tackles.

Copped a knock or two against north and played decent which is a good sign, will take him being consistent into next year for me to jump on board though.

Aish is not soft. Has put his body on the line a few times since coming back in.

Getting more Core Strength will help him less Pushed around as much. Not going to have a Big Body.

Hopefully he does end the Season Strong and play Midfield more with Season over

You said the exact same thing about the 2012 draft class... way too early to say

Are you for real? There's quite a few things you could criticise Aish for, but being soft is not one of them. Kid is willing to put his body on the line with the best of them, and has been doing it all year.

Maybe worded wrong , more about strength than courage , which more time in the gym should help .

Golds is just a whole different subject, almost pretend he's not on the list ;)

Treloar and Aish look like Fantastic Gets with the Season close to Finishing. Hope Both Finish very strong

In our best few on Friday, along with your other men Grundy and Moore.

You must be stoked at the moment Dave, with the way 'your' guys are going.:thumbsu:

Howe has been a terrific pick up.
Rocky start, or was that a dogged start?
But really knuckled down, pulled the finger out and played well

The uncomfortable question is that with Howe, Treloar and Aish turning out to be good trades, why are we lower on the ladder than we were last season?
