Second game in a row that he's playing this role, just not sure if it's a symptom of Birchall not being out there.

And there in lies the problem. That role has always been Birchall's to loose. Hard to really know how often Gibson will fit in once Birchall comes back. Who gets the cushy SC role?

Lake and Frawley>KPF, Gibson>Third Tall/ability to run off man and rebound, Stratton>Dangerous small fwd, Birchall and Suckling>rebounding HBF's? But what would I know I'm an essendon fan

Frawley and Lake being fit does help him become the third tall though and he's one of the best defenders in the league at reading the play and knowing when to leave his man and creating a 2 on 1, thus he gets alot of intercept possessions/marks/spoils. He was forced to man up on opposition number one talls last season although his most natural position is the third tall, not sure once the real stuff starts he'll be playing as loose as he is now.

Jack Gunston has a game-high 93 #SuperCoach points 5 minutes in 3rd term. Newnes with 60, Anderson and Steven with 51 apiece and Hodge 50.

Anderson 51? Hardly noticed him!

Looks like wooden spoon number 28 for the Saints this season, 15 more than the 2nd worst lol.
I'm sure if you polled big footy on which club they would rather have going fwd between "were coming" blues and the saints it would be Saimts by a country mile

High draft picks don't always guarantee success. In fact I think draftees are overrated in general, only a small percentage of draftees go on to become superstars or even 150 game players for that matter, as these days every single draft pick is talked up to be a future superstar. That being said at this stage St Kilda do have a better batch of young players, but Murphy, Gibbs etc will still be around for up to another decade

Why would I care about a big footy poll? There is more chance of the planet self combusting than St.Kilda winning a premiership in the next 500 years, they're just a crap club with a history of being crap, hence 27 wooden spoons to North Melbourne's 13 in second place on the wooden spoon ladder.

Do you own "The Streak" on DVD by any chance?
