I thought Minson played pretty badly honestly, that is very surprising.

Waiting for idiots saying how we overpaid for Boyd, disregarding that we're paying him the normal draftee wage this year as well as paying for what he'll bring in a few years

Around the ground yes, he didn't do that much apart from a snap goal in the square.
But he really did dominate the hitouts with 50 and also 5 clearances. Grundy had 22 hitouts.

Was JB worth a million per after just 9 games?

I didn't say he's no good. In time, could even be great...But you don't bank your future on potential alone. Not a million anyway.

Not sure what you were waiting for. Just a few posts above yours in fact.

Honestly? I didn't really notice him dominating the hitouts at all. I thought he was pretty bad, as I said, and no amount of stats will disprove that.

But the fact is that he was up against Grundy, and at the moment Grundy's not that great in the ruck. I wouldn't be hanging my hat on that.

As for the Boyd post, I missed it. Didn't even have to wait for it!

I don't have the hitouts-to-advantage breakdown, but you are being too harsh on Will tonight. I noticed several really sweet taps straight down the throat of a Dogs player tonight, he was good not bad.

Swan has looked like crap. And I don't think it's his fault, Buckley has him playing the same stupid role as last year.
Pies fans, what do you think about this theory? He's never adapted to the interchange cap. Seems to me he used to be untaggable because he would Sprint like mad for a few minutes, rack up a few possies and then rest using Kicks revolving door of interchanges. With less rest on the bench, he can't guy run like that anymore. If that's part of the problem, he won't get back to his 100+ average.

You can't say definitively that he will bring anything in a few years. Could have a Gumbleton run with injury from here on and never realise his "potential". Or just be one of those kids who peaked in the TAC Cup & never take the next step. Regardless of what happens from here, no other team has ever paid anywhere near the overs the dogs have for potential alone.

Tom Scully and his dad say hi.

So does Brendan Fevola

Fev had 575 goals under his belt @ 3 goals per game before going to Brissy. Then 48 goals from 17 in Brissy that matched his career average. His goal kicking ability didn't cost him his career. He was still only 29 years old when he went to Brisbane. They should have got at least 3 or 4 years of elite goal kicking out of him. Alas, Fev was his own worst enemy. Could have had close to 1000 career goals to his name and been remembered as one of the modern day greats, if it weren't for his pea brain. He was worth the money Brisbane paid for him at the time though.
