Would be nice if Jed Adcock could add some constancy to hes game scores are all over the palce.
rounds 3-9 solid >
7287103122967487 but to many scores in the 50's and 60's hes last 3 weeks 113 then a 55 wtf then smashes out a 139.

My opponent this week has him as his D7 loopholer. Watch him somehow magically score 140 against Fremantle.

Jesus it's a bit early for this thread isn't it?
No, never too early.

Lines through:
Wingard, Burgoyne, Birchall*.

Will strongly consider:

Wines (Depending on price)
Trent Dumont could be a good choice, Scott said they were building him up fitness/strength wise, hence no games yet.
Dom Tyson maybe
What do you guys think about Hoskin Eliot? hasn't he played up fwd, could be dpp?

Dumont is just about a lock for my team, has been dominating at vfl level. Disappointed not to have seen him already

Probably hasn't played enough up forward IMO. Not sure I'd start with him anyway unless he keeps playing like that through the finals

I reckon there could be quiet a few players with fwdDPP next season>
Goddard.
Bartel.
Swan.
Lids.
Daisy.
Bennell.
Also hope Gray keeps his he should but you never know.

Gray still has spent a bit of time forward hasn't he? You would hope he keeps it

Will be looking at Tom Lynch (GC).

-Averaging 92.6 in wins this year for the Suns

-Average being taken down by a poor start to the year, when he went 292 @ 58.4. Without even looking at scores, he's become a very good player in the second half of the year (but has av of 89 since those first 5 weeks for overall average of 80)

-Reminds me of Lobbe who smashed 2013 home with 6 100's from his last 9 games, Lynch has got 3 100's and a 97 in his last month, really in his breakout period imo

-Has kicked 43 goals this year, as well as playing a lot of TOG% (14th) and ranking highly in marks inside 50 (5th), goal assists (4th) and contested marks (2nd) - all CD lovebird stats

-GC win more games next year, Lynch another pre-season under his belt and the big thing is that even though Lynch is a KF he gets a lot of the ball - not a 10 disposal, 3 goal key forward.

My initial thoughts would be he will be a 92+ forward next season, priced at an average of 80. I might just be overreacting because I've had big tickets on the guy for a while now and he had a big game on the weekend (16 disposals, 8 marks inc. 6 inside 50 and 2 contested, 4 goals)

Hurley looks like he's nailed down his position in defence recently, I reckon he will be a great buy next year

I'll be keeping an eye on him also. Traded him in in Rd 9 and kind of regretted it for the next 6 or so weeks, but his form over the past 4 rounds has been outstanding for his price.

That being said, he'd want to be pretty cheap for me to start with him next year.

I'll definitely be having Rockliff next year.

Might also be worth keeping a cheeky little eye on the starting price of Hrovat and Stringer from the dogs too.
Especially if Hrovat is a forward, the kid is gonna be a star.

The AFLPA did a voting on an under 22 team, and champion data determined what position players were selected in. Here's the list, supercoach should be something similar.

How do you think Lachie Hunter's been travelling mate? I had a look at the start of the season but decided against it (wisely it seems) - has he struggled, or just a matter of being stuck forward etc?

For mine he's been decent without being outstanding (in respect to his age, ability etc). I started with him and should have dumped him early (he rose about $40k very quickly) when he started to get tired. He had a spell in the VFL from rounds 9 to 15, which did his confidence a world of good and he came back strong, but has just started to trail off again (and had a few vest appearances too), while also being stuck forward like you said.

He'll be better next year with this experience and another pre-season under his belt, but I don't think I'll be riding that horse into the sunset next year. He'll probably start around the $300k mark, and that's just too much when a good rookie will probably get close enough to his scores anyway.

Yeah, Hrovat has looked good. I reckon he should get DPP, so as a forward I'll see how he goes in the preseason.

BJ and Swan would be unlikely, but you never know.
Gray will keep it, I reckon.

Most of my off season will be spent culling the following list to 4, or at the most 5, for my mids:

Albett, Rocky, Pendles, Fyfe, Griffen, Steven
Rocky and Fyfe will be priced higher next season starting price that is.I will be one of those 2 from that start and get the other one mid season Steven locked in.
I reckon the back-line will be a struggle with Dswallow,Bartel,McVeigh, hanley all will lose there def status.

BJ has played alot forward went into the mids full time to help cover Watson.I don't know how they work it out Seen somewhere where the player plays the most in the second half of the season. But now with the GPS and heat maps that might give an idea on if X player gets dpp or not.

Yeah they use heat maps, provided by Champion Data.
BJ is a much better chance than Swan, IMO. As you said he's played a lot up forward, but I'm not sure it'll be enough. I hope you're right!
