Sorry if it has already been brought up, but i was just on footywire and the supercoach section has players listed in positions that they aren't in this year.

Some examples that stood out

Defender- Dalsanto, Kelly
Fwds- K Jack, Bennell, Duncan, Zaharakas, Naitanui, Ryder.

Can anything be read into this for next year or am i totally missing something???

They are listed under AFL Fantasy in those positions, but couldn't find them under SC.

Those names were the popular ones in discussion about who might be DPP next year, which I think came about because AF introduced their changes mid-year as opposed to end of year (as per usual for SC).

Bye the sounds/looks of things there will be more options up forward.
With Duncan,KJack,Swan,NN,bennell etc. maybe bartel plus afew def/fwds like Howe,Dunn.

But off setted bye the lose of some ddp backs.

but at this stage no-one really knows IF SC will give all these players dpp status.

I believe that has come from Dreamteam

Yeah, that. I hate replying and then moving to the next page and finding it's been answered :(

dayne beams is an interesting one for next year... at sub 500k was a no brainer (for me anyway) rnd 1 this year... but not so next year.

hasn't really gone big this year, but super consistent.
went big regularly back in 2012, can he get back to those big scores and up his average to 120+?

You need to rethink that post mate.

Only 7 scores 120+ and 2 scores under 100 with 86 his lowest.

Very disappointing..

Dayne Beams will probably get a gig for me, prefer him to Pendles.

Ablett, Beams, Griffen, O'Meara, Crouch and rookies looks the go at this stage. Backing O'Meara to break out big time. 115+.

I agree with the sentiment on Beams by The_Steadier.

At his price this year was perfect as M3/4 and he hasn't let any of us down with a 117 ave.

Next year I would reckon his price would be ~$620-630k, which would preclude me from looking at him.

I would imagine I would be doing something similar next year, to this year - GAJ, Pendles, value mid, value mid, 'even-more' value mid ( :) ), rookie, rookie, rookie (rookie, rookie).

If he was a 120+ ave this year, he might have a case for M2, but not for me next year at this stage.

I'm not sure who will be in my team next year but one man has already made it there for sure

TOM ROCKLIFF

Michael Voss is the worst coach since matthew primus, tony shaw, nathan buckley, james hird...and every other 'favourite son' who got a gig coaching without any experience.

Imagine playing a beast like rocky in the fwd line....

Glad someone's got their thinking cap on. Of course I'm not saying beames has had a poor year, just that beams @ 500k is a very different prospect to beames at 600k.
Lots of competition at the pointy end of the stick m1-3.
You wanna make sure your getting bang for your buck all year.

Eg- as much of a must have in the fwd line dangermouse is this year- I wish I hadn't overpaid by 75k by buying him at his start price

It probably cost him a brownlow that stint of 8 or so matches up front

Wonder what B.Smith starting price will be next season if he can drop those really poor scores out of hes game.He will be a good SC defender scoring range so far 32-144.

And wasn't there the preseason 'talk' he might be pushed into the midfield at some stage?

Listed as a defender (from '14), but playing in mids in 2015, that would be very compelling.

I did'nt here any thing about him in the pre-season.But the likely hood of Mcveigh, bartel,Hanley,Mitchell? losing there def status might have to look at the Smiths of this world he sure can find the ball/ gets a bit of it.

Ben mcgynn fwd/mid next season seems to play a good SC role.

"He don't give up,
He don't give in,
He's underrated,
He's Benny McGlynn!"
