jetta had a rough back end of the season, for whatever reason, and has stunk up a couple of finals. over the course of his career i couldn't say he lacked heart though.

Anderson looks a decent talent, but what runs does he have on the board? What role does he play for us next year?

Jetta clearly takes Rosas role next year and makes us a better team running on the wing opposite gaff. That being said, a trade for Jetta hasn't been done yet, so how do you know what we're giving up for him?

All teams overrate their young talent, I like Anderson, but he's not a must get for us. You hold the cards because he's contracted. But if he wants to leave and he nominates us a second rounder and steak knives if we're feeling generous will get it done.

Pick up a backup ruckman (mature age?) and a project ruck and we would be sweet.

Lycett, Mckenzie, Jetta, Redden, Duggan and Anderson for Sinclair, Hutchings, Rosa, Masten, Ellis and Butler is damn solid.

We wouldn't be giving up our first rounder for 2016, I can tell you that much. The draft is expected to be stacked with talent - we'd be crazy to part with such a pick. Lycett alone would have greater trade value than Anderson anyway so I think you're dreaming with this one. Maybe Anderson for 2016 second round pick or something - that'd be more reasonable.

Well of course, but keep in mind we're not the recruiting staff of our clubs, so there's really no need for us to barter in this discussion. We can be realistic and say that you would be bending us over and stuffing us from behind with that trade. We'd be expecting a first rounder if we traded Lycett (and with Sinclair looking like he may leave, there's no way we'd be trading Lycett anyway), so that means he'd have higher trade value than Anderson alone.

I doubt we'd be prepared to part with more than a second round pick for Anderson, and as others have mentioned already, you guys probably rate Anderson higher internally than we or other clubs would, so you'd probably not accept that offer for him. Could be difficult to get a deal done TBH.
