Yep and will stay that way. Chairman has ruled it out indefinitely with some pretty strong statements
Pretty sure the SCG still has a traditional pitch.
Apologies fellas, I could have sworn it was a drop in pitch, but you both are indeed correct.

"1116 SEN are reporting that James Aish has requested a trade out of Brisbane, nominating Collingwood his club of choice.
There has been no official word from Brisbane or Aish's management as of yet.
It is understood Hawthorn hold considerable interest in the talented midfielder."

Interesting that there is nothing on their website yet or anywhere for that fact.

Why are you doubtful about this rumour? Seems to make sense on a couple of levels.
Isn't the rationale behind no longer considering Suckling, that we don't want to offset any FA compo for Leuey by bringing in a FA? Suckling or Whitecross, sure one offers more than the other, but would the nett gain be worthwhile?

My understanding is he cooled on us.

My understanding is he cooled on us.
Not my understanding.
"Initially there was a discussion with Matt Suckling's management around that we couldn't take in a free agent because we thought Matty Leuenberger was going out, therefore we didn't want to cancel out the advantage we got," Schwab told ABC radio.

"But there's been other factors at play in the strategy of the club that I haven't been able to go into with them and I can't go into with anyone else."

Asked if the club was still a chance to get Suckling, Schwab said, "I wouldn't have thought so."

Surely we need more elite kicks though? Not being able to hit a target is our main problem.
Suckling is like Rich. Unstoppable when on song but can also string together 3-4 shocking kicks in a row. Pass for mine as his asking price is far too much for my liking. 400kish is a hell of a lot for a squib that tries to hard to do the impossible with every kick.

Out to dinner last night with two die hard Hawks Fans.
I asked them if they'd be shattered to lose Suckling.... Both of them said Nahhhh wouldn't care either way.....
Kinda makes me say no....... But. A fresh start somewhere else can revitalize a player.
