We now have 2, 17, 21, 39 and 42 with 3 picks later (which one will probably be used on Jansen). What happens if one of Hipwood or Keayes slides and we can pick up another decent youngster such as Oli Clayton with 21. Then use 24 or 26 from Aish for the other deals that need to get done on Bell. I feel like giving up 17 so we can get 32 to get Bell is just a bit silly. Surely if we can turn Aish into Astbury and Bell then its not so bad and manage to keep 17 and 21
I have seen no real indication we will trade Aish.

Cheap shot champ. No funnily enough i haven't run a footy club but i do run staff it doesn't matter your point is redundant because business is business the same rules apply whether you are selling cakes or running footy clubs, manage your staff well it's an area where we as a club need to improve.
I think this whole "manage the staff" thing gets thrown around a little too much sometimes. Such a generalised comment that actually has no specific substance. Not saying you are entirely wrong, but geez there are much bigger issues surrounding player retention I would think, Like QLD talent % (acdaemies starting to kick in will help), AFL 2 year rookie contracts give the entitled next gen an easy out to the bright lights of footy states or home, lack of QLD appeal, forgotton by the AFL generally, and poor facilities and coaches...throw in using a piss poor NEAFL to develop rookies

Gorringe is crap... Lions have been talking to Jamar. could be a smokey gap filler like Hudson was
We could look at picking up Grimley as was a rumoured possibilty a while back. Costs nothing and adds depth and the 2nd ruck/forward option if Martin went down and West was main ruck.

We need another ready to go ruckman on the senior list. West and Stef won't be enough.

I'd be seriously considering upgrading Archie and then only rookie listing Chol.

Which ones would they be? Let's look at the ruck situations of some recently successful clubs... Freo- nope. Sydney- definitely not. Hawthorn- nope. North- nope. Adelaide- nope. Richmond- nope. Geelong-lol. WB-:drunk:. WC- they just traded Sinclair. Port- you could point to them as an example if Lobbe doesn't play much next season. Better luck next time.

Astbury & Bastinac are heading up to Brisbane for a look. Walker and Jansen to be traded in from Cats for a future r3 pick. @RealFooty1

Not sure how to embed tweets so copy pasted. Good deal re Walker and Jansen I think - need the points next year and only if we have the spoon will our third rounder be better.
