We'll have to be at our absolute best in the next few years. Extremely tough period of transition, rebuilding while exiting the current day legends respectfully. It's no secret to anyone we'll be rebuilding soon and that makes it hard to attract the players we have up to this point. Realistically even chipper took a big risk punting on the fact we'd become the GOAT to get his flag. To the draft it is!

Thoughts on picking up as delisted free agent Mark Jamar? Just as an emergency ruck?
I Like This!!! I think we have a spot on the rookie list reserved for a ruckman and I think a ready made backup would work nicely. Hawks have been blessed by the rise of Cegs but before that we always had that one backup ruckman kicking back off the rookie list (Big Bad Brock, Skipper, Paul Johnson and Adam Pattison from memory). Alternatively Gorriange would be great as he has that chance to come good (doubt it) but I would only spare a rookie spot regardless.

Fair unit.. What was his main issue?

HUN Live trade talk has stated Anderson is contracted for 2016 and will make a decision on his future at the end of his next contract(like all players), so they must have done some digging.
It sounds like he wants to leave, if that's the case I reckon we should get something for him right now.. I can't see Jedi staying beyond next season

I was on the piss a few years back coming out of a nightclub and a mate and I and Yarran and his mate where after the same taxi... He handed it straight over, we had a quick chat and I got him to give my mate a call who's a blues supporter which he happily did.. Had me in stitches, seemed like a ripper bloke. Sounds funny as the way he talks in real life "hey bruz it's Chrissy Yarran, I'm with a few of your boys"... He knows a few indigineous boys I played with and I've only heard good things.
Fair enough, we'll see how it all pans out.

they are not worthy
Our current ruck stocks are Big Boy (pretty good 2015), Ceglar (all potential but some back issues), Pittonet (very raw kid not ready for 2016).

Jamar should be handy back up for a "use only in case of emergency" situation
Under that logic I would have kept Lake on as a back up first and foremost.

Wowsers, youre comparing guys that barely played senior footy to someone who has shown he's a high end contributor for half a decade? It was only the 2nd half of this season Yarran showed his displeasure at being a Blue, previous to that I don't remember it ever being an issue.

He would be a good addition and I don't think you can question his application, he has proven to apply himself for a fair while as a league footballer.
Yarran has already said he wants to go to Richmond and not Hawthorn. I don't think there is much point discussing it. I would gladly let him go through to the Tiges, far too inconsistent and never played a good game against Hawthorn in his life, even when he was part of the Betts and Garlett forward mosquito fleet that used to get positive reviews in the press.
