they are not worthy
no one seems to be choosing hawthorn!! destination club no more!! Anyway, the devil is in the detail, open up cap space to keep the likes of Schooey and Jed. Happy with that.
If it wasn't for Buddy leaving we wouldn't have had room for Big Boy, JOR and Chip. Unfortunately, the salary cap is full. I'm sure players would want to come but know that it is not going to happen for 2016.

You have to remember that we are paying our playing group the same as Carlton is paying theirs so it is a great effort just to keep them all together when everyone else is dangling carrots.

We need to invest in young talent through the draft, so I'm more than happy to not lure anyone over. Bringing in some young kids will also let guys like ando, Howe, Sicily, Hartung etc try and cement a senior spot and take over from the old firm.
Our list now can still take a fourth cup without needing to pay overs to pry someone out of a club to bring them to us.
Really like Riley Bonner, could be the next Birch!

Not a bad comparison to Birch, Id acrually prefer Hibberd, I think he has more scope to develop into a midfielder and he has that perfect big athletic frame as well.

It doesn't sound like that to me. It sounds like he wants to make a decision on his future at the end of his contract.
Correct.

He'd only have to make a decision at the end of his contract if it was not already renewed.

Clarkson mentioned the need to get games into Hartung, Sicily and Anderson in 2016 twice since the final siren on Saturday that I have heard, so I think all the "Jed wants to leave" hoopla is just people jumping at shadows.

Seriously, if you are at a club who've just won their 3rd flag in a row and the coach is saying he needs to give you games next year, why the hell would you even be contemplating leaving? No chance.

Hodge and Roughy were pissing themselves laughing Saturday night that we actually have more room in our salary cap than Carlton.

I know he's a Syd but what are people's thoughts on Craig Bird?
In our list current state of evolvement he would only be a list clogger and at best slow the senior development of our up and comers.

I hope we dont consider any other clubs surplus and focus on our youth and pick what we can from the draft.

Yeah we don't have any room for anyone but its ok we will land a couple of big fish when Hodge/ Mitchell/ Burgoyne retire and until then we will just have to make do with winning flags.

Talking before walking I think. Nearly went to Port last season but deal was never going to eventuate considering Ryder.

It's not that far fetched to assume we will rookie an established ruckman
That delisted Magpie spud Ceglar hopefully will be holding up one finger next year on the podium (not the middle one - that'd be rude)
