Why do people rate players on what they did in their first year?
Thewlis, I get the feeling, in your eyes if we had pick 8 and another club had pick 12, and there was a suggestion we trade the two picks, you would think the other club was being overly generous, because anything we have aint half as good as what the other club has. would I be correct?:)

now be honest.;)

AFL trades 2015: Michael Talia tipped to move from Bulldogs to Sydney Swans

OUT of favour Western Bulldogs defender Michael Talia is meeting with the Swans in Sydney today as he looks to find a new AFL home in 2016.

Talia, 22, was to meet with the Swans coaching staff and have the obligatory medical check, but Sydney is believed to be keen to secure his services given that key defenders Ted Richards and Heath Grundy are in the twilights of their careers.

Talia, who has played 30 games since making his AFL debut in 2012, has also attracted interest from Essendon, Adelaide and Carlton during the trade period, which ends on Thursday.

It is possible, though, that he might have to find his way to another club via the delisted free agent process.

Talia is the subject of an AFL investigation after the Bulldogs called on the league’s integrity unit to look into claims that he provided “game-sensitive information” to his brother, Adelaide’s Daniel, before their elimination final last month.

The Talia brothers met with the AFL early last week, but the investigation is continuing with the AFL yet to speak to several other involved parties. An AFL source said the investigation would take as long as necessary, and there was no consideration to concluding it before the end of the trade period.

Michael Talia, who is out of contract, still has not spoken to Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge since the end of the season.
