Surely Aish would be getting real nervous if the Treloar deal isn't done by tonight unless Bucks has told him a while ago that the deal will go down on Thursday

Oh, boo f****** hoo.

I'd like to demand someone find the hacker who exposed my Ashley Madison account, too, but it seems it's actually my own stiff shit for having it there in the first place!*

Suck on it, Collingwood.

* - For the purpose of protecting any good name I may happen to have on here, I wish to make it clear that I in fact DO NOT have the said Ashley Madison account! I just rather liked the analogy!
Well done there Cold Gin in refuting the initial statement that you had an Ashley Madison account.

However I don't know anyone by the name of "Cold Gin", I doubt if too many posters here do either (because of the rather obvious fact that it is far from a mainstream type of moniker), so unless you have been needlessly sharing around your real name to various and many posters, I don't think too many of us are likely to be too intrigued.

Aish will still get to Collingwood. I can see Brisbane blinking on this one, they can't afford to let players go for nothing with the current state of their list.

The more I think about it Collingwood might actually benefit from letting this go down to the wire? Might force Brisbane to take their offer?

Interesting situation for Aish, do you take the gamble that Schwab will blink? If it's Collingwood or nothing, then he has nothing to lose by letting it play out.

Loving the saltiness from some of the pies supporters in the Treloar and Aish trade threads.

One of them is calling for the Treloar trade to be mediated. BWAHAHAHAHA
Step 1 - We'd like a log of all Collingwood calls and emails to determine communications with Treloar's management in the past 12 months
Step 2 - We'd like a report from Treloar's management list all the other occasions they covered the costs of a client's surgery

Thanks

I think so too but it will depend on how much sway Lethal Leigh has in proceedings as he's not at all happy to deal with them, yet very much so to deal with us.

Am I the only one that thinks it's incredibly unprofessional that the AFL has the ability and/or need to step in and mediate trades? We're all grown ****ing adults, if both sides offer a fair deal, it will get done. If one or both sides wants to bend the other over, it's pretty simple: the trade doesn't go down. Instead we get the classic nanny-stating of mediation. And yet we get told so often how AFL is a big-time professional league that can compete with the biggest leagues in world sport

North Melbourne deal leaves Collingwood scrambling on James Aish

Collingwood are scrambling to find a future draft pick to satisfy the Brisbane Lions in a deal for James Aish after the Lions have all but finalised a separate deal with North Melbourne for Ryan Bastinac.

While there had been discussions about a three-way trade involving three clubs with Aish getting to Collingwood and Bastinac to Brisbane, the Lions have found a way to land the North midfielder without involving the Magpies.

Under the North deal with the Lions, which is close to being completed, Brisbane will give up pick 17 and receive picks 38 and 40 in return from North with Bastinac.

As a result of that deal, the Lions would have enough draft "points" - despite losing pick 17 - to cover the cost of their two talented academy players, who are expected to attract higher bids.

The Aish negotiations between Collingwood and Brisbane have already seen the Pies offer up the future second-round pick they have received from St Kilda for Nathan Freeman.

But it is understood Brisbane want another future second-rounder in 2016, when they will have another highly sought academy player. They no longer feel they need second-round picks in this year's draft. Collingwood are already committed to trading their future first-round pick for Adam Treloar, a deal that has been agreed in principle but still hasn't been signed off. This means they cannot their own future second-rounder but the Pies can, however, trade future picks they gain in a trade.

We are now a 20% chance I reckon. Great thing is the GWS won't be going out of their way to help the Pies!

Strange thing is that if the Bastinac deal is seperate to the Aish deal, then why isn't he already gone??
We are still in the hunt.
My take, we have a non-Aish and an Aish deal signed off by Brisbane. We hit the go button when one is the final choice. This will be a midday tomorrow kind of deal I think.
