Hannath was involved up forward, as well as working with Tabs on contested marking work later on as I mentioned. Mzungu down back as I mentioned. Obviously A.Pearce down back, Griff not involved much and was mainly in yellow bib (Peel) so probably most likely the emergency. Makes sense with Hannath a better forward/ruck than Griff IMO and would be a like for like swap with Zarke. De Boer yellow bib brigage also, Tendai was red bib (Freo). Tabs as I said doing some ruck work so will probably end up between Hannath and Tabs for the red vest come Saturday, the other with p[inch hitting ruck responsibilities to see out the game I would say. Another observation was Sheridan in the yellow bib mob, not sure if that means anything, maybe to make up numbers being bottom of the seniors heap.
Yeah they do mix it up a bit but it's generally a pretty good guide. I didn't see Sherro in red but I did see Suban in yellow at one point IIRC. Was ****ing tired this morning so apologies for being a little vague on a few of the deets. In the match sims they mix up the bibs its when they break into their respective groups they wear the red or yellow.I may be wrong but I thought Sherro was in the red bib group but could be wrong.Simmo or Gaskin might have more info.

Wasn't involved too much in the play, ball didn't really get near him. His thumb would still be quite a mess I reckon, wouldn't be looking to get his hands dirty too early just yet. Sadly I didn't get too close a look at the Wolverine gloveHow did Zac "wolverine" Dawson do with the glove? Any chance he's a smokey to come back sooner?

Obviously given that one more injury and our KPD's are non-existent, they would be looking at playing him a little earlier than initially anticipated, hence him being on the track today. In the event that anybody goes down the funky glove may even enable him to play if we're desperate and having him involved in the sims will keep up his fitness base and game awareness. Really hope he gets a chance to heal before he gets a call up.

This was it before training today.

Freo medical staff decided he was good to go.
Unfortunately using only one hand at training compromised the integrity of his other hand.

Should only be a 2 week injury.
It would be terrific for him to have shown something before finals come. Give some options and depth.Very keen on hearing Blakely trained with the regular mids. Would love to see him get a game.
Should be a big turnout on Tuesday. Even the chihuahuas should be on the track.

Skills were fine in the wet and the wind was quite strong .
Alex Pearce read the wind best of the backs while Moller and Walters were the better readers of ball flight in the forward line .
Ballas did a nice shimmy into the forward line and slotted one from 40 metres into the wind with a dry ball early in the session .
Clark and Sandi struggled to hold marks when it was raining . The ball was slippery when it got wet and no one had any Grippo
Clancee and Fyfe have great hands and held everything .
