Anyone else recon Gasquet is a sneaky outside chance bet? He would be Wawrinka's worst nightmare. Meanwhile Fed is cheering for gasquet...his record in Slams against Berdych is horrible!

I give Anderson every chance against Wawrinka. I don't think the latter has played too well this tournament, and if his serve isn't on, I expect Anderson to attack it every available opportunity he gets.

I personally don't understand the hate towards the Servebots. I mean I understand that they don't have long rallies, but who wants to watch a counter-puncher grind it out all day against another counter-puncher. The servebots make some good highlights reels with their serve and volley game style. The servebots can also have good ground strokes like Groth does nowadays, he definitely didn't early in his career, but now he's one of the most exciting players to watch.

Anderson is good to watch. Good ground coverage for a big guy, and up at the net, groundstrokes and serves are good as well. He's attacks the ball as well.
Murray is boring to watch with his defensive game style with the occasional backhand passing shot and all the unnecessary screaming and fist pumping right after.

Murray is boring to watch with his defensive game style with the occasional backhand passing shot and all the unnecessary screaming and fist pumping right after.
But I disagree with the Murray statement because his "defensive" game style isn't boring it's fast paced due to his incredible coverage of the court and his ability to move his opponent around the court in preparation for a winner. I will admit that he isn't as interesting as a lot of other players, but definitely not boring.
As for his celebrations, it gets him pumped and engaged for the next point. If you watched one of the Australian Open finals he played against Djokovic, you'd be able to see that something as little as a feather can put him off of his game. If his celebrations keep him focused, I'm all for it.

I agree, Murray is boring to watch. I hate his game style. But it was entertaining today, watching his outbursts lol. He should play doubles with Krygios
Surprised this is the first time Anderson has made quarters in a grand slam.

Really happy for Anderson. Read an article awhile ago about how cut up he gets about bad losses, and how hard he trains. So glad to see his mental resolve in overcoming Murray. Testament to the quality of this service game to outplay the second best return of serve on the tour

Depends what you like I guess. I appreciate the skill, I do. However I would get bored watching aces all day long. Would rather see players hit winners off the ground whether that be at the net or the baseline.

I'd definitely like to see more net play, like when a servebot comes around I like to see players like Djokovic using their great returning skills to combat it which forces the servebots to attack the net and try new things

Hate Raonic though, just serves and stands there, meh, I'd get bored watching him for an hour. I do like some serving, prefer watching Novak though, or Gasquet. Don't mind Berdych as a meduim between a boring server and an all rounder like Fed/Novak/Rafa
