Look at how fast Rafa has fallen. Novak is also a physical player. Once his legs go he will decline rapidlyLol wat? Backhand? Best return of serve of all time?
Tournament is over for the year, back to Bay 13 please
Don't agree. He's approaching 30. Once he loses his speed around the court he loses his edge
He is 26! That is 4 years (minimum) of being easily the favourite in 3 of the 4 Slams. The U.S. open will be the hardest for Novak. Only a matter of time before he gets a French.

He's actually 28.
Calling it now. Don't come crying when it turns out I'm right.Rafa has a different game plan and also has had bung knees since he was a teen. Big difference.
We can piss on each other all we want here, but at the end of the day one has the greatest grand slam record in history and the other is a flog, who will just be remembered as a very good player who won a few slams

One injury can ruin everything. At the end of the day even the most diehard Djokovic fanboys know that he will never pass Fed's slam record. Rafa's too.Even so that is peak for at least 3 more years. The only really good one coming through (Nick Kyrios) is a good 3 years away from Winning

Tennis peaks usually occur around 24/25 but can extend to about 29/30. I think Novak really needs to capitalise on his opportunities in 2016 because as history shows it's harder to win slams in your 30s and Novak will be 30 in 2017.Even so that is peak for at least 3 more years. Thank you! Djokovic's style of play is less sustainable into his 30's. Rafa has found this out earlier than expected. Novak will too. There is, but when Djokovic loses some speed he will fall back to the pack. That wont happen for a few years though. Who knows what players might come up in the next few years too

We both know he won'tYep has 3 years at his peak which he should get 6 Slams (2 a year isn't that much considering apart from Murray, Fed/Rafa aren't as big a threat. I sort of hope he ends on 17 just so both can be regarded as being just as good

It will be interesting if competitition emerges or not. Will Nadal be rejuvenated? Can Federer sustain his ranking? Will someone like Raonic or Dimitrov finally stamp their authority and prove their worth? There's interesting times ahead for tennis.
We both know he won't
