honestly feel that one of the fiesta/peach bowls should be switched with the rose/sugar bowls next year or onwards.

I really don't like how in the 2016/19/22 etc. seasons everything is pre-determined with tie-ins with the cotton bowl getting the left overs.

Admittedly, the cotton imo is a more prestigious bowl than The orange/peach bowls, but I'd prefer to know there could be 2 destinations you can go to rather than getting the worst at large team there is.

Wow this is easily my favourite time of the year. Going to be a bit annoying this year actually having a job and commitments so there'll be a few games on the IQ hard drive I think. Summer, Christmas, Bowl season, NFL leaning towards playoffs - I'm excited.

For all the debate in the championship week thread, I'm really happy with what we ended up with. I don't think anyone is going to be able to beat Alabama, so I'm glad that we've got some great match ups on the way to the national championship game.

Richo. Before you ask why a team who got smashed by USC can push you after what you did to USC. Look at petersens history. When you give him time to prepare, more often than not he always did well out coaching his opponent. I wouldn't at all be shocked if Washington play a different defence than we've seen all year (like what kwatkowski (don't ask me how it's spelt.) did in 2009 when Boise changed to a 4-2-5 just for the bowl. And with a months prep, they can have an offence which can keep Alabama on their toes.

Alabama does have superior talent hence why I have them winning in overtime. But I do feel Chris Peterson will outcoach nick saban here.

I just hope I'm wrong with the fiesta bowl because Ohio state-Alabama will be much more entertaining than Clemson-Alabama.

I think LSU are going to get beat. they cant move the ball, and have not faced a QB anywhere close to Jackson.

I agree that Alabama will beat Washington pretty handily.

I'm most looking forward to Clemson & Ohio State, cos I reckon that's a really interesting stylistic match up.

I'm also really keen on the Rose Bowl. I've really enjoyed Penn State's redemption story, and I think college football is much, much better off when Penn St and USC have strong teams. Even though I've only really been following college football for about 10 years, I also have a real soft spot for the Rose Bowl. That Michigan St/Stanford game a couple of seasons ago remains one of the best games of football - college or pro - that I can remember watching. After all that time watching college ball I still don't have a team, but the Spartans and Cardinal are the closest I've come to a team choosing me based on that game.
