What keeper system should we use going forward?

  • Stay with previous system - 3 year term (5 keepers year 1, 3 keepers year 2, re-draft year 3)

Happy with either 2 years or 3. 3 allows you to be a bit more patient, especially with young guys but I would say the concept was originally thought up to promote more trading, so in that regard, 2 years works better.

As a result, If I had to vote for one, I'd say 2 years.

Thoughts as to whether we can keep players for a maximum of two or three years? I am leaning towards three.

I have updated the poll in this thread so everyone can update their vote and vote for whether we have a 2 year or 3 year maximum on keeping players in the new keeper system.

Which ever option has the most votes by 9am Thursday wins.
 
If you trade for players half way through the first year, when do you need to get rid of them?

My understanding is that it would either be after you have kept them for 2 years or 3 years depending on which option we go with.

Without getting heaps of votes, the 3 year maximum for keeping players was the clear winner.
