In the absence of State of Origin and a decent pre-season comp, why don't the AA and AA-reserves have a game-off 2 weeks before the start of the season during Grand Prix weekend?
You'd fill Etihad easily.
Forget those maggoty AFL players association reps complaining about potential injuries and a long season - what would they know?
Or we could all just go out and watch the plethora of local footy finals on this weekend..

Bay 13 has the main board covered.
The posters on Bay 13 at least know they are taking the piss. Those on the Main Board actually think they are sages when it comes to football.

When Luke Darcy is on a panel of any kind, expect it to go badly for anyone in Blue. And he is on every frigging panel to do with the AFL. If his abilities matched his ambition, he would be a incredible human being instead of a tosser. But they don't. Not by a long chalk.

Reckon players would be quietly happy being chosen by their peers for awards.
That's a bigger accolade than Luke "****ing Idiot" Darcy awarding you with something I reckon.

Sometimes the less he talks about you, unless it is to criticise minor errors, the better player you are. Doc, Simpson and Cripps are perfect examples.
Darcy and Ling often talk up players and excuse their mistakes to cover for their barracking, sometimes for pretty ordinary players in sides they like, or good players having poor games. Plenty of examples to be found each week.
Steve Stiffler and Ringlicker have zero cred.
