Bontempelli is the interesting one for mine. We all know he's developing into an absolute gun - but I don't think he's had an AA quality season.Thomas robbed.

You have to love the clowns at AFL.com. They have selected a player that was dropped 2 weeks ago. Stringer has been decidedly average this season. They needs to have a good hard look at how their player ratings work.Team Of The Year - DOC!

when is the final 22 announced?
Can Simpson scrap in?I think it is tomorrow.
Can Simpson scrap in?
I have a feeling Doc will.
Can't have too many if any Carlton players in the final 22.![]()
Carlton's Kade Simpson was overlooked despite collecting more than 20 disposals in every game bar one and recording a disposal efficiency of 82 per cent.
Thought you were updating the final team ...
They've updated it with the mids, here's a good quote:
Josh Kennedy (Sydney Swans)
Ranked No.2 in the AFL for clearances behind Carlton's Patrick Cripps (who was not available for selection as he was not in the 40-man squad), Kennedy was the popular pick in the centre. Missed just one game and ranked No.1 for contested possessions.
Both Cripps and Lachie Neale had more contested possessions. If Cripps played for any other team would be walk up start in AA team for him not to be even in the 40 man squad is a farce. God I hope he polls really highly in the Brownlow. They've updated it with the mids, here's a good quote:
Enright... ppft what a joke. Doch and Simmo have been better than Enright and Shaw
That is a lot more than Kennedy.
Maybe the judges for this award like the outside midfielders more than the inside midfielders as Scully and Pendlebury have both been nominated.
Cripps got a whopping 80 plus more clearances than Pendlebury. If it was only 50 more it would be a whopping difference.
Surely clearances are a key measurement....or are easy kicks on the wing now better?
Supposedly so.
The voting is flawed. It should be open to the public to vote on this.
I hope your right but just going by what different people in the media are putting out, I think they desperately want to put the usual names in there (Enright, Shaw) ahead of him. Browny's logic was Doc missing purely because of how bad we went in the second half of the year which just seems like shit logic to me.I have a feeling Doc will.

I know I am biased but Doc should definitely be there.
Shit panel, Judd would be goodLets see, the AA selection panel :- G McLachlan, K Bartlett, L Darcy, M Evans, D Frawley, G Jakovich, C Ling, M Richardson & W Tredrea'
Nope no chance.
Prove me wrong AA panel!
