No Docherty really annoys me. He was absolutely outstanding this year and Luke Darcy has the nerve to say he dropped off in the back half of the year. He didn't drop off, the team dropped off. Doc played the same way all year and he honestly couldn't have been much better.

I still can't get over Lachie Neale not getting in after breaking the record for all time possessions in a season. Can you imagine if someone from Dawks,Colas,Handbags had of done this they would be classed as greatest player ever and made captain. Time for an overhaul of all selectors.

This really shits me. It's harder to get a kick in a shit team than when you are flying. So it makes it even more incredible that he didn't get picked.
Same as Cripps he had more clearances,contested possessions etc than anyone in the league in a struggling side but yet didn't even make the squad. KB,Darcy Ling etc need to be moved on and get some credible people in and also get the public to vote .

I think he actually got better in the back half. And just checking through stats now his numbers back that up. He was the best half back by the length of the straight. How about the fact that bontempelli only really started to play really well in the last 4 weeks? Or the fact that cyril is horrendously inconsitant and over rated, yet many say he is first picked. I just can't come up with any sort of justification that docherty didn't make it. All australian has lost all its prestige over the last few years
